Super cute updated cottage on High Rock Lake. Great place to get away for a week or weekend. Right on the water. Great views. Large porch and pier. Private pier & good parking. Home has 1 bedroom and 1 full bath. Pull out couch also. Updated home with open floor plan. Gas Grill for cooking, easy steps down to the water, several layers of decking. Patio table that seats 6 and out door chimney fire place on lower lever of deck. Great place to get away and have some fun. Perfect for a couple or small family.

Great country restaurants nearby, and Denton isn’t too far! Drive a little bit and go to Hills and get the homemade ice cream! The house was incredible! Neighbors were nice too! Make sure you check out the bbq restaurants nearby!

Very cozy little cottage. Very quiet with a little boat traffic. Did some fishing after the rain stopped. The color of the leaves were beautiful since it was the end of October. The neighbor cats were on the back porch to welcome us.They are freindly but not overbearing. We very much enjoyed our stay.

I like to go over everything simply because those are the reviews I like to read. You may be a little out off by the surrounding area, but keep going! The neighbors have kitties that are friendly so keep in mind if you are allergic. The neighbors on the other side have an unfriendly dog and fought a couple times throughout our week stay. For the house itself, it feels much bigger than it is! The walls and baseboards are pretty dirty and a good deep clean would be good. Some of the dishes and appliances were still dirty from previous use. The cove on the lake is very quiet and was not much boat traffic at all. This trip was just my husband and I, but two small kids or even two more adults would fit just fine. Would consider staying again!
