About this cottage rental
This charming (non-smoking) 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage has a large fenced in backyard and screened in back porch for that early morning coffee or afternoon beverage. Backyard is sod grass with no briars! Great for small mature families, 3 couples and/or people with difficulty climbing many steps. NO PARTY GROUPS/ NO PETS ! No CHARGING ELECTRIC VEHICLES! Brand new modern kitchen that is fully equipped. New outdoor decks and wonderful living area for the entire family to gather. Outdoor grilling and picnic table are out back for a family crab boil! . Master bedroom has it's own private entrance to the screened porch so you don't disturb your guest if you rise early for that beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic. Large hammock that can be taken out back to soak up the sun! The outdoor shower is also connected to the screened porch so you don't have to go outside to get to it. Also, there is seating on the shaded front porch to kick back in the a.m. First house off beach road and beach access right at a lifeguard stand makes it easy to get to the sand! We are across the street from The Sea Ranch Resort.
We provide beach chairs and some toys for your beach trip. Bath linens and kitchen towels are provided. Kitchen staples are provided to get you started. Full size washer and dryer in laundry closet , clothesline out back and one on screened porch for all those wet suits and towels. YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN SHEETS AND BEACH TOWELS !! If you choose to use bath towels provided, you must allow enough time on checkout day to wash, dry and restock them on shelf before departure.
NO PETS ALLOWED however, there are some very nice boarding facilities within minutes of the cottage if you want your pets close to check on.
The local YMCA is just a few miles away and offers weekly packages for an additional fee for those families wanting pool time.We are also a 20 minute drive from the new Outer Banks water park. However, you are across the street from the OCEAN!

Absolutely had a great time with my family in this awesome little home. Owners made everything so easy and had the house in great shape and had lots of household appliances and many staples already in place for us to use. Absolutely great location to the beaches and any and all activities. Would most likely to rent this home again anytime. Talked with owners and was very impressed with her as she helped with a few things about the house and other aspects around it. Very impressed with her assessment of things talked about. Alvin L. There are a lot of rules for a reason…the house was in very good & clean condition. Kitchen had everything we needed. Temperature in the house was so comfortable. It’s just a quick trip across the street to the beach, easy for going back and forth for snacks, drinks or bathroom breaks. We spent a lot of time on the shaded front porch drinking coffee and cocktails, reading and saying hello to the passers by. The back deck was so comfortable and relaxing and the backyard very well maintained. We always find it hard to walk around KDH but the great parking and easy access made the driving easier. Grocery stores super close!
