This is a great home base for a weekend in Asheville! It’s the perfect size for two people and is so convenient to walking around all the shops and restaurants in West Asheville — as well as being just a short drive into downtown or outside the city for some hiking.

We loved the location just a block from Haywood Road in funky west Ashville! Don’t miss breakfast at Sunny Point Cafe or drinks at The Low Down. Both super walkable. Downtown is 10 min drive. We brought our pup and she was right at home. Above garage apt in back of main house was quite and well provisioned. Clean and comfy!

The house had a bad order when we arrived. I We lit candles and the smell got better. The furniture was old and uncomfortable. There was a bobby-pin on the nightstand from the previous guest. Everything just seemed run down and in need of TLC. With a professional cleaner and some investment in new furniture this could be a great place. We checked out after one night and the owner refunded us for the second night with no problem.
