About this apartment rental
The Somerset building is a luxury gated community and perfect for a beach vacation for families and couples. The property has 2 tennis courts, 2 outdoor pools, grilling areas and direct private beach access. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops.
Located at the south end of Crescent beach. this direct beachfront unit 607 with over 1800 sq ft of indoor and outdoor space has been completely remodeled in 2015. This is the largest two bedroom model in the building. New hurricane proof windows and doors installed in October 2017.
This unit (which sleeps a maximum of five people) features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a den. The kitchen is fully equipped, with all new custom wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a breakfast bar. The dining area and living room face the large gulf-front lanai, which is also accessible from the master bedroom. The entire unit features new wood-look tile flooring.
The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and a large walk-in closet. The en-suite master bath has been completely redone with new tiling, large walk-in glass shower, double vanity and granite counter tops. The second bedroom has two extra long twin beds. The second bath has also been completely redone. Both bedrooms, the living area and den area are equipped with flat-screen TVs with HD cable. The den has a very comfortable queen pull out American Leather Sleeper Sofa and pocket doors which can be closed off for privacy/additional sleeping area, There is also an additional lanai off the second bedroom.
There is a washer and dryer in the unit, free High Speed WiFi and a telephone. A storage unit near the pool area with beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and beach toys is also accessible.
Naples is just a 30-minute drive away with world class shopping and restaurants.

Bottom line this condo was wonderful. The location direct access to the ocean beautiful sunsets and definitely lots of space within the condo. 2 large bedrooms with 2 baths as well as the large foyer/den area, 2 large balconies, kitchen and the appliances all really made the visit that much nicer. However there are just a few cosmetics/ inventory items that I think the condo could really benefit from. The first is they need to change out the bath linens on a more regular basis. I purchased several bath, hand, and washcloths and a bath mat because the current sets they have were worn and bleached. The bath mats did not look like they have been washed recently. After I washed them they looked so much better but with the turnover of guests I understand things get used heavily. They should go to either an all white towel and stick to one brand and again maybe add new sets every so many months and get rid of one or two old sets. Underneath all of the vanities there were old products that had expired. There were two hair dryers under one vanity so we would avoided not bringing one if we would have known that and some additional hangers for the closet would have been nice. The closets were large with plenty of room but again the closets could use some organization as there's a lot of bedding that's basically thrown up there but could be sorted through and organized and cleaned up a little bit. Again though it was a wonderful condo and we do look forward to returning thank you

This was our fourth stay at this beautiful property. Once again, we had a perfect time!The condo is modern, clean and well maintained. The location on the beach is really spectacular, and you are just steps away from the sand. We watched the sunset from the balcony each night. The Somerset building is beautiful and the surrounding landscape is also really nice. The location puts you only minutes away from shopping and restaurants, anywhere on the island. Michelle is a perfect host. We can't imagine a better place to stay on Marco Island. We will return for our fifth stay next April!
