About this cottage rental
Relax and linger at our newly remodeled cottage on Lingerlong Lane in lovely Brevard! The cottage is conveniently located, just .3 miles from the visitor center in downtown Brevard! Walk to downtown restaurants, galleries and shops. We are also a short drive away from the Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State park and lots of hiking, biking and waterfalls. In addition to the outdoor activities, we are walking distance to Brevard College and 3 miles from the Brevard Music Center. Whether you are visiting for outdoor activities, music, art or our local breweries Lingerlong cottage is perfect place for your home base.With 2 bedrooms, we can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. Bedroom # 1 has a queen sized bed and bedroom #2 has bunk beds. The front porch is a great spot to relax after a busy day, or enjoy coffee in the morning while listening to the birds sing. We also provide a dry secure place for your bikes a bike stand to work on them and a garden hose for washing off that dirt or mud. We have another larger 2 bedroom House next door, Lingerlong House and another 5 bedroom home if you are looking to host a family retreat or friends get together check out Lingerlong.Lingerlong Lane is a very unique compound of homes.

We were a bit concerned when we arrived but later found the #52 cabin very comfortable for us and our pup. We hope we can use it again next year for a longer stay. We enjoyed meeting our neighbors too!Suggestions: A small supply of toilet paper would have been helpful. Creating a way to get into the queen bed in that small bedroom would also help. You might consider changing from a queen to a double for that very small bedroom. We still thought it was a good place for us and our pup for 3 nights when we left today.Sion Bell 7/11/25

This lovely spot is close to downtown Brevard but charming and quiet with a screened-in porch that’s comfortable day and night. I’ll be back!

We loved this property! What a great location and facility for a mountain-forest getaway. Not only was the property spotless and cozy, but the screened-in porch was perfect for morning coffee with birdsong and a place to put our feet up and listen to the rain on the metal roof when we came back from a full day's hiking adventure. The property is only a short drive for downtown Brevard, but we actually preferred walking. All-around great vacation property.
