The Location of this Property is absolutely ideal if your intent is to explore all regions of Cape Breton, which we did. The Pup and Country Church Kitchen is close by and came in handy for those eat out evenings. The Views from this property are as advertised and absolutely stunning with Sunset and Sunrises daily. Very Private location. Kevin and the Property Caretaker were attentive to a few very minor issues. Beds were comfy and the cottage had everything we needed. Mosquitoes at dusk we a bit much and thinking a screened in patio would be a bonus. Overall excellent property for our needs.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cottage! The location was breathtaking—nestled in nature with stunning views of the ocean and mountains. The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were super cozy, and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.Our host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure we had all the information we needed and checking in to ensure everything was perfect. We especially loved the little thoughtful touches that made the place feel so welcoming.If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing escape with easy access to Cape Breton’s beautiful trails, beaches, and scenic drives, this is the perfect spot! We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We picked this location since it was central in Cape Breton and we could get anywhere easily on day trips and it was pet friendly. Kevin left us wanting for nothing and was very welcoming and accommodating when our week there ended in a big snow storm.The view of Lake Bras D'Or was spectacular and we got to experience it in all seasons. It was nice to cozy up in front of the fire each evening.We didn't get to take advantage of the beach access this time due to weather and the season but it is a short walk away and we look forward to it in possible future summer visits.Thanks for the wonderful stay.
