About this house rental

This listing is for Unit 1 (apartment upstairs) in a brand new house on main street in Cheticamp, on the Cabot Trail.

The house has two apartments (i.e. Unit 1 on the main floor & Unit 2 downstairs).

Unit 1 (apartment upstairs) has the following characteristics:
- has 2 bedrooms (one with queen bed & the other with both a single bed and a double bed) and also has a sofa bed in the living room which opens up into a queen bed;
- has one fairly large bathroom with a combination bathtub and shower;
- has large windows to let the sun & light come in;
- has a magnificient scenic view of the Cheticamp harbour & Cheticamp island.
- is very spacious (open concept with large kitchen, dining room & living room);
- has large deck, along the walls of the kitchen, dining room & living room;
- has amazing sunsets;
- has private entrance;
- is close to trails for snowmobiles and ATV's (from the trails, head towards Cheticamp & then follow trail to Sunset Vacation Home);
- is on main street, within walking distance of restaurants, grocery store, church & hospital;
- is a 20 min. drive to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, on the world-famous Cabot Trail, which has spectacular scenery & hiking trails;
- is a 10 min. drive to the local Portage Golf Course, beaches, bakery shop & pub with excellent fiddle music; and
- is a 45 min. drive to two renowned golf courses in Inverness - Cabot Links & Cabot Cliffs.

Unit 1 is also very central on Cape Breton Island, being only about a day's trip to most parts of the island.

Very clean new space that had all the items you would need. Spacious areas that had great sunset views. My experience was top notch and would recommend this property to anyone. The laundry was an added bonus! It’s better than the photos. Close to the Cape Breton Highland National Park.

We were pleasantly surprised at how new the property was. Great location and we even had one lovely evening on the deck enjoying the sunset.
