Reina Sofía IIis located right in the center of Madrid, on Calle Doctor Fourquet, in the city's most vibrant neighborhood: Lavapiés. It’s the perfect place to make Madrid your home for a while.
This fantastic attic apartment, with capacity for up to 4 guests, has been recently renovated while preserving the charm of the original building. Beautiful features like exposed wooden beamshave been carefully maintained.
The apartment is fully equipped to make your stay in Madrid unforgettable:
Bedroomwith a double bed, wardrobe, and flat-screen TV.
Living roomwith a comfortable sofa and Smart TV.
Fully equipped kitchenincluding fridge and freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishes and cutlery, pots and pans, and cooking utensils.
Attic area: A cozy space perfect for reading a book or watching TV. This area also includes two sofa bedsthat can comfortably accommodate two additional guests.

Though this tradition has largely faded, the Cristina Rota Acting School, located on the ground floor of the building, keeps it alive today. HOW TO GET THERE
From the Airport (Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas):
Take Line 8towards Nuevos Ministerios. Transfer to Line 6towards Lucero. At Moncloa, transfer to Line 3towards El Casar.
Get off at Lavapiésstation and walk to the provided address.
From Atocha Station:
Take Line 1towards Pinar de Chamartín. Get off at Sol, transfer to Line 3towards El Casar, and get off at Lavapiés. Then walk to the address.
From Chamartín Station:
Take Line 1towards Valdecarros, get off at Sol, transfer to Line 3towards El Casar, and get off at Lavapiés. Then walk to the address.
By Car:
Check the Madrid City Council websitefor up-to-date information on traffic restrictions and parking availability in the city center.
GETTING AROUND
The closest metro station is Lavapiés (Line 3), from which you can easily reach any part of Madrid. Nearby metro stations also include Embajadores, Antón Martín, Atocha, and Atocha Renfe.
Atocha Renfeis Madrid’s main train station, offering long-distance, AVE high-speed, and commuter train services. If you’re arriving by train, you can easily walk to the apartment — it's just a few minutes away.
For those arriving from the airport, in addition to taxis, Uber, or Cabify, a very convenient and affordable option is the Cercanías commuter train, which goes directly from the airport to Atocha station. From there, you can walk to the apartment if you're traveling light.

-Rental cots are available for €30 per stay. Please remember to request one by contacting the host prior to your arrival.
-Tenants must present a valid ID and a credit card at check-in.
-Parties and similar events are not permitted at this property.
-Access to the apartment requires a smartphone with an internet connection.
-The tenant will be required to sign a seasonal rental agreement. This contract respects the original conditions of the booking and must specify the duration of the stay, indicating that the purpose of the rental is not indefinite occupation of the property nor use as a permanent residence. It must also include the tenant’s habitual residence address (where they are officially registered) and state the reason for the rental.

THIS WAS A PERFECT SIZE FOR TWO OF US AND A GREAT HOME BASE TO EXPLORE MADRID. CLOSE AMENITIES ESPECIALLY THE METRO, GROCERY ETC… QUIET NEIGHBOURHOOD. APARTMENT WAS CLEAN, EASY TO ACCESS, AND HAS A GREAT SHOWER (RARE). THE HOST WAS IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE FOR ANY QUESTIONS AND PROVIDED SOME WELCOME GUIDANCE DURING OUR STAY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The apartment is on an excellent location. Very close to the metro station and a 20 min walk away from plaza mayor. The check-in/entrance process is a little confusing, but it all worked in the end. There is one room that is very comfortable. The second one is up the stairs, and it has a very low ceiling (all good but keep it in mind if you're tall).

The appartement is located very near to a metro station, has a beautiful city surrounding and near to the Rastro (if you like flea market). Many local restaurants around (try the Croustillant just opposite the street!)
But the appartement is only for 2 person. The upper room has no possibility to let some fresh air in and the air condition does not reach it (as cold air always drops down). So it gets hot there! And the ceiling is very low, for people of "normal" height not possible to stand upright! No possibility to store anything in the upper room like your clothes - at least: this is a stopgap solution.
If you don't need the third or fourth bed the appartement is nice and cosy.
