The photo of the building was untrue and therefore very deceiving. The true picture of tge building would have resulted in my not booking the accommodations. The insides were fine, but too much furniture restricted ease of movement. Some of the furniture was unnecessarily large, blocking access to parts of the kitchen.The beds were comfortable and everything worked well. Huge (by European standards ) fridgeThe landlady should provide an instructive guide, especially for the induction stove top, the washer, lacking a dryer, and tge dishwasher. The smaller frying pan did not have a flat bottom, not okay for induction use. Two blinds were manual and the third electric, how would one now. Surely most of the visitors would not be Spanish and think like one. Hence the need for a guide.The flat was located in a gentrifying locale that was close to a large supermarket, restaurants and 4 big sites: the Atocha railway station, Prado, Reina Sofia and the wonderful Gardens./Park. 10 to 15 mins.Overall it worked out well. Location convenience 5 stars. Excellent shower. Excellent heating, cooling

Everything was as expected. Most sights and entertainment was within a kilometre of the apartment. The beds were comfortable. I recommend war plugs if sleeping in the streetside bedroom with the window open. The sofas weren't very comfortable and could use an upgrade. I would recommend this property.

Well stocked two bedroom location with AC/heat in every room. Location is about 25 minute walk to the main square and most attractions. Many grocery, restaurants and stores in the area. Would stay again

After some difficulty getting into the apartment, everything went well. Lovely apartment well equipped and comfortable. The neighborhood was somewhat off-putting as some streets not the cleanest. The people were an eclectic mix and friendly. It is about a 15 to 20 minute uphill walk to Plaza Mayor, Puerto del Sol and the Presidential Place. Also an easy walk to the Riena Sophia and Prado museums. The Sunday Flea Market is even closer. There is a taxi stand nearby, Lavapies metro a block away and bus stations 3 blocks south. So getting around is easy. There are some good ethnic restaurants nearby but more choices at Mayor and del Sol areas. All-in-all, central and accessible. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and recommendit for adventurous visitors.
