This unique home is 12 miles from Ohiopyle, sitting on 8 acres and a beautiful trout stream. The home is fully furnished with lots of amenities. Enjoy sitting on the covered porch watching the numerous Hummingbird's that visit or playing bocce ball in the backyard. The property features a covered bridge that accesses a small island with a large gazebo and covered lookout over the stream Relax and unwind, catch up with family and friends. Located near multiple local attractions and activities, including whitewater rafting, biking, hiking. Fallingwater, and Kentuck Knob, Fort Necessity and borders Forbes State Forest.

Wonderful location for a great nature retreat weekend. Really fun property with a wonderful stream in the backyard lots of places to explore back there and relax. Host was very communicative and it’s a very simple nice little place in the woods to hang out! Highly recommended!

For those who rate and value their VRBO rental experience based on luxury or perfect accommodations as far as thought-of-everything conveniences, perhaps other rental will better grab your fancy. However, if you and your family want any of the following features, then this place is for you:1) a kinda crazy floor plan layout that's totally unique and totally fun2) a huge grassy back yard with a great fire ring and a comfy porch overlooking it.3) a huge woods in and back with a babbling trout stream creating

Prior our stay the owner was not very quick at responding to messages with questions and did not respond to emails either. Once we were at the rental the owner was quick to respond to our call/request. We were disappointed that the rental is right off of a road and has visible neighbors. We were under the impression that the rental was on 8 acres and secluded. The overall house was clean but there were spiders and cobwebs every where and a musty/mildew smell. There were small things like no clocks, no Kleenex, no extra blankets, and no extra towels that were bothersome. But there were also safety concerns such as an exposed electrical outlet and broken railings on the spiral staircase that were a bigger issue. However, we made the best of it and did in fact enjoy our week long stay. The initial disappointment faded through the week and we were able to enjoy the sound of the stream, fire ring, hummingbirds, woods, and get away. We also loved seeing what the property and structures used to look like in an album and hope that the current owner(s) will maintain them in the years to come. This rental property truly is a treasure and quite unique.
