Lazy Rocker Cabin at Green Mountain Lodge in the heart of NC Apple Country

The host was very communicative when needed, and completely unobtrusive. In fact, very helpful in suggesting DuPont forest and some good eating in town. The property is a real getaway from the everyday grind and feels very off the beaten path. There's an apple grove nearby which can be walked through and the view from the porch is out over the woods and surrounded by trees. It was very peaceful and regenerative to me, and was glad to find a number of trails, even waterfalls within driving distance, as well as in town there's a really nice Greenway with a couple of dog parks - one small one and one large one.

The cabin was cozy and inviting, with comfortable accommodations that provided a great night's rest. The minimalist design prioritized meaningful rest and relaxation. Our stay offered opportunities to connect with the environment, and we really enjoyed the back porch.

A wonderful and cozy cabin! Was perfect for a weekend getaway with my family. Hosts were very welcoming and responded quickly.

The cabin was smaller than it seemed in the pictures, the wifi/tv were very spotty, and the hot water was a problem.Also, there were no extra supplies, ie: trash bags, recycle bin, shampoo, no wrap or foil. I know these things aren't required but for the price we paid Ifeel like there should have been some supplies. We were given one tiny hotel bar soap and a sponge cut in half.The owners are on site and were very nice and the view was peaceful.All in all, it was not worth 150.00/night
