Full Season Beautiful Lakefront Retreat With Year Round Attractions

This Sebago Lake house right on the water is a Dutch colonial with four bedrooms and a lower level dorm room. Three bedrooms have beds that sleep 2. The fourth bedroom upstairs has two beds that sleeps 2, a single bed, and a double mattress that can be used on the floor. The basement level dorm on the slope down to the lake has two single beds, and a sofa bed that sleeps 2. In another basement room, we can put out a single mattress, a double mattress, and use a fold down couch for one. The house can sleep altogether, eight couples and five singles. The large living room has a beautiful stone fireplace with a couch and several comfortable chairs. In that space, there is a dining area that seats up to 12 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, dishes, and cooking pots and pans. There is a breakfast nook there with seating for at least eight people. There is an outside deck with a table that seats 8. The house is equipped with 3 full baths. Cable and wi-fi, a radio/stereo with music collection available. Also available are croquet, horseshoes, and corn hole . There are two canoes and two kayaks. At dock, there is a pontoon boat with seating for 11 for socializing. (Operation not included unless with special arrangements.) At the lake shore, there is a small beach with a typical Maine rocky area. The house is also equipped with an out door table in the front yard for use with the grill area, two outdoor grills, some child floats and assorted toys. Parking is available for five cars with special arrangements for more. Whittemore Cove is a quiet enclave. Walkers can circle from the end of Whittemore Cove Road to the end of a parallel private road that also joins Raymond Cape Road--a 45 minute walk. The ferry to Frye Island is near the Whittemore Cove Road turn off. Swimmers can swim about 75 yards to a rock used for sunbathing and diving.
