Stayed in July 2026 for Baseball tournaments in Monroe. Loved the house, setting and host. The pics do not do it justice. Dock needs a little maintenance but Mrs. Freida has already started on it. It was still usable and our kids loved it. They fished, swam and played pool. Plenty to keep them occupied. I had trouble with VRBO payments but Mrs. Freida worked with us and told us not to worry and worked it out with us. She had everything prepared and ready when we arrived. She even had my favorite seasonings stocked up. Even with our hectic ball schedule, we were able to relax when at house. Would love to come back when we could spend more time on the lake and just spend time enjoying the big back porch. Thank you Mrs. Freida for sharing your lakehouse with us.

The host is super friendly and very prompt to answering any questions. We went into town to explore the area and had a good stay. She was super helpful with everything we had going on.

Check in was good, GPS takes you to the wrong house, it two houses past. Listing stated there was a crib and 2 futon beds. As soon as arrived I asked where the crib was located, she said the was no crib that it was a mistake by VRBO. So the first night my grandbaby was miserable as she likes to only sleep by herself the next day I bought a playpen and had it delivered, parents was finally able to get some rest. There was 1 futon the the living room, the other was in the warm/hot garage. So we had to have the 2 other kids sleeping on the couches. She has since updated the listing. The main bathroom tub takes forever to drain during the shower, there were water spot on the floors under the vents. The slide on the deck needs major work, the side isn't even connect to the deck ( screw pulled out and wrapped together with string.) We made it work. There were ants everywhere outside the house, not inside. The inside of our vehicles were full of ants (took days to finally get them out). We had a great time fishing, swimming and being together as a family. The place isn't bad just needs some maintenance.
