Dar Alouini is an exceptional luxury guesthouse that perfectly combines authenticity, elegance, and comfort. The location is outstanding, just a few steps away from the Great Mosque of Kairouan, making it ideal for exploring the city’s rich heritage. The property itself is beautifully restored and decorated, offering a unique and peaceful atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and the traditional hammam, which added a relaxing touch to our stay. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout our visit.

It is ver close to Oqba Ibn Nafaa Mosque, which is the first mosque built in Africa. Only 1 minute walk!

The property is located in an ideal area right next to the grand mosque. The staff provided a thoughtful and tasty breakfast that changed each day. We received careful attention from the staff that definitely exceeded our expectations. In particular, Nour made sure that all our tours were carefully arranged, and that all our questions were answered in a very helpful way. We look forward to returning someday to this gem of a property.
