Hot water pot should be kept in every room with sugar cubes and tea premix powder pockets.

Everything was good . Suggestion to include home made dinner ( like breakfast) as Hampi has fewer options for food

1. The place is in a quiet residential area.
2. Homestay has all the amenities required for a comfortable stay.
3.The owner and staff are really helpful and courteous.
4.Stay is only 6 km from Hampi and the proximity helps in exploring Hampi.
5.The stay is filled with plants, has a garden, multiple sit-out areas.

I like staying in homestays because it allows us to meet and talk to Indian people. This more than makes up for the inevitable lack of facilities compared to a big hotel.
This didn't happen at Mango Tree.
I think we were unlucky because the owner was away until our last day. Her daughter was in charge in her absence and she wasn't very good. She stayed in her own lounge and didn't even greet us. She was helpful when we asked her direct questions but wasn't proactive and didn't want to chat with us.
