Very good convenient location in Miraflores, but on a relatively quiet street.
Good breakfast.
Lovely staff (English spoken if needed).
Big room. We were in the room on the top floor, off the breakfast terrace. We could use the terrace at other times.
There is no laundry service at the hotel but there is a good laundry just over the road.
The toilet in the room struggled to flush sometimes, but there were others available in the building.
We had to ask for room clean/bin emptying (toilet bin), it was not done automatically..
Minor things - we would stay again.

Casona Azul is an oasis of flowers and birds right in the middle of Lima. The hotel is beautifully decorated with ample common areas, including a small kitchen, filtered water, tea, and hot water kettles. There are even board games to play. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming-- and their breakfast was the best we had at any hotel in Peru! Beds are comfortable, rooms are nice-- and we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go.
Like most planes in Peru, the hot water doesn’t last forever so no spacing out in the shower or the next person will get a Luke warm one!
