About this house rental
NOTE: This property is mostly booked for 2025, with the exceptions of this opening:

It sleeps up to 6 for a weekend, 4 for a week and anything over a week, we prefer 2.
This airy and light loft is a sanctuary to relax into. The 13' ceilings and ample windows give it a spacious and roomy feel. You have everything you need, yet is not cluttered or cramped. It is well thought out and very organized.
There is a separate entrance and is very private from our main house. Nestled in a well established residential area that is predominantly original owners and people who were raised in this soulful beach community.
You'll feel at home in this peaceful home. It's a great place to unwind and recharge your batteries. Yet, there are plenty of restaurants, stores and places for outdoor adventures within 4-10 blocks of our home.
This kitchen is open to living room and has everything you need, including a dishwasher. There are several grocery stores within blocks, so that you can eat in and relax at home.
It comes with it's own washer and dryer for your convenience and savings!
Our weather is ideal for outdoor dining on the balcony off of the kitchen and sun bathing on the roof deck in the chaise lounge chairs. There is also a bistro table with four chairs on the roof deck, for enjoying sunset while you dine!
Walk four blocks west, and enjoy the best stretch of the beaches in Pacific Beach - well known Law Street Beach. It has a nice grassy bluff to watch sunsets from. Public bathrooms for your convenience. The surf there is gentle and small, ideal for young children and inexperienced beach goers. Yet, the surf just blocks to the North is more enticing for those water lovers who want to hit up the surf.
This Law Street Beach is also the North end of the boardwalk that goes south for miles. It's a fun stroll along to see the fun PB has to offer and also great for bikes, making it a nice beach cruise.
The bay is due South of us (9 blocks) and has it's own boardwalk that lines it in a full circle. More quiet and laid back than the ocean boardwalk and fun to see the sail boats glide along with ease.
The Primary Bedroom has direct access into the bathroom. The rooms are comfortable, as are the beds. The entire loft (minus the bathroom) has an awesome real wood floor that is unique and wonderful to walk on. The bathroom has a beautiful tile floor. This is a non-smoking property; vaping, e-cigs, cigs and cigars. Thank you!

This location was perfect for our family of 3 weeklong vacation in San Diego. Shari and Doug were wonderful to work with and ensured we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to beach and restaurants within walking distance. Could not have been happier with the house or the hosts

I felt so at peace and didn’t want to leave. The pool and hot tub allowed relaxation. Being able to walk to the beach added to the peacefulness. We were 3 adults and 2 children and had just enough space. I hope to be back soon.

The apartment and location were great. It was clean and well maintained. The apartment space felt separate from the main house and felt very private. We could walk to the beach or use the pool/hot-tub as we liked. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We had a great time and would book again.
