About this house rental
Experience “top of the mountain” living and enjoy the spectacular views in this spacious and updated 5 bedroom, 4.5 bath townhome that comfortably sleeps 14. Our home is clean, updated, and located close to the slopes, trails, and restaurants. The owners have paid special attention to details offering a full kitchen with all you need to feed a houseful. Additionally, the decor has been specially selected and chosen with your moutain top experience in mind!
The main level has a large living space with vaulted ceilings, fireplace, and floor to ceiling windows that provide beautiful views of the Shenandoah Valley. The fully stocked and updated kitchen includes a stove, microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge, Keurig and regular coffee pot, and enough dishes, utensils, and cooking wares for a full house. Dining area comfortably seats 8, while the kitchen bar and stools provide additional seating.
With 5 bedrooms there is room for everyone! The top level holds a bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bed and a full, private bathroom. The 3rd level includes a queen bedroom as well as an additional bedroom with four (4) bunk beds, both of which share a full hall bathroom. The 3rd level also hosts a very comfortable King suite which includes a large private bathroom with jetted tub and a private balcony, perfect for relaxing. Another King master bedroom is located on the 4th floor, offering privacy and a quiet space. Mattresses were selected for comfort and the bedding designed for warmth.
Enjoy year round area festivals and welcoming community farmer's market in the warmer months. Visit breweries, cideries including Blue Toad, Bold Rock, and Bryant Cidery, spirits tastings at new Silverback distillery, the county's first Whiskey Distillery, and local wineries for wine tastings. For casual dining we love Blue Mountain Brewery, and Brewing Tree. We love to sit by the fire at The Devil's Backbone and drink one of their craft beverages or enjoy delicious food while listening to live entertainment at The Edge . Numerous award-winning vineyards are within minutes of our home – some of our favorites are Blenheim (Dave Matthews’ vineyard), Veritas, and King Family.
Wintergreen in the summer? YESSSSSSS! Wintergreen is a four-season resort offering ziplining, summer tubing, a golf course (bottom of the mountain), miles of hiking trails and Lake Monocan, a 20-acre lake and park is located at Stoney Creek. Lake Monacan bosts canoes, kayaks, fishing equipment, sand volleyball court, sandy beach, lounge chairs, picnic area and outdoor charcoal grills. (Some fees apply) Lake Monocan is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Please check the website for current hours of operation.
Wintergreen’s more than 30 miles of marked hiking trails are developed and maintained by The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen which offers guided hikes every Saturday and Wednesday in summer.
Vallley View is the perfect getaway for multiple or extended families or friend groups any time of the year, whether you are looking to take advantage of all that Wintergreen has to offer or just want to relax and take in the amazing view! We look forward to seeing you soon!

Plenty of space and facilities to accommodate all the family skiers - from the oldest (74) to the youngest (3 year old twins & their 7 year old big brother) and plenty more in between... and all their gear.

Our family stayed to celebrate my grandson’s 12th birthday. It was one of those perfect getaways!
The house was amazing and you Immediately felt at home. The owners are wonderful and are excellent at communicating.
We will definitely stay there again and recommend to our family and friends!
