About this apartment rental
One of the best remodeled units in the complex. Modern and fully furnished with everything you need. The unit has air conditioning in every room and individually controlled. Local restaurant on first floor. Sitting directly on the beach, only 3 miles from Wailea, and 9 miles from the airport, you have a perfect location with lots of beaches, golf courses, shops, restaurants, snorkel, surfing, fishing, farmers markets, and activities nearby. Amenities include an oceanfront pool, (heated), 2 shuffleboards, gas barbecues Oceanside and on the rooftop with 360-degree views, ceiling fans for additional cooling, but rely on those great ocean breezes; plus, free parking and free fast WiFi. The couch has a pull-out Queen with memory foam mattress. Adjacent to the resort is the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, along with the historical 16th Century Alii (Royal) Fishpond of Kalepolepo. Protected by offshore reefs, the pond provides a safe swimming area for children and those who prefer gentle surfing. No road to cross to get to the beach, It at your door step! The condo property grounds and amenities were above average with beach access and location to Kehei shops and restaurants excellent, the saving grace to the condition of the below average unit condition.
The units floors were dirty, evidently not cleaned for a long period of time. The area rugs throughout were dirty with stains. The inner liner of the shower curtains have not been cleaned / replaced - very dirty with soap scum and yellowed. The lanai is not usable due to the A/C condensor unit being located on the lanai, unless of course the A/C units are not turned on in the unit. On the day of check out, the cleaning service entered the unit without knocking at 10:40 AM, 20 minutes prior to mandatory check out at 11:00. The garbage disposal did not work and was jammed up with food which we cleaned out and made in working order for our use. If you're willing to tolerate dirty floors and some work while on vacation this unit is for you.
