About this cabin rental
Peace Be With You---enjoy your morning coffee on the deck overlooking a peaceful pond, long-range views of Beech Mountain, and the sound of a nearby running stream with small waterfalls! Annie’s Cabin is located on Sugar Mountain at approximately 4350 feet and less than 5-8 minutes from the Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Golf Course, Tennis Courts, Hiking Trails, Grocery Stores, Restaurants, Antique Shops, and Churches. Two king size beds, one queen size bed, and a set of bunk beds sleep eight guests. The newly renovated home includes central heat and air conditioning, rustic oak style flooring, new paint, a remodeled kitchen with stainless appliances and granite countertops, gas log fireplace, washer and dryer, wireless internet, cable HDTV in the family room and all bedrooms, and a gas grill on the deck. This is your home-away-from-home to fish, relax, and enjoy the many attractions of the Pisgah National Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, and the North Carolina High Country, including Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Historic Banner Elk and Boone, and Tweetsie Railroad for the kids. The Cabin is not suitable for toddlers of crawling age to 3 years due to the pond behind the cabin, the steps on the side of the cabin, the upper deck with attached benches, and open stone fireplace with hearth that could present safety issues. We do not accept long term rentals (30+ days). We have two Ring cameras/flood lights on the premises, front walkway and Eagle side of backyard. Once guests notifies host that they have arrived, the front camera is turned off until the morning of departure. The back ring remains on due to the wildlife that frequents the property, but with no audio.

This was our first time using VRBO. Being in our 50s we didn’t know what to expect. I was impressed with the process and communication. The owners were prompt in my inquiries before and during the trip. The host sent us good info on things going on in the area and were present for any texts I sent. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. If you are looking for a rental that’s quiet and has a nice backyard for seeing wildlife / fishing or just checking out from busy life this is a nice place to book. Bring it is summer and July 4 it was still very peaceful. The big thrill was July 4 evening my adult boys were going to setup a campfire and there was a bear 30ft away that ran up the tree then came down and just laid there. After about 30 minutes the cub came down and they walked off. I’d come back again for a family trip. If you are looking for a 3 large bed 3 real bedroom cabin this is a great choice.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The furnishings were top quality and everything was as described. The host was readily available and answered any questions I had. I will return to this property in the future.

This is simply one of the best spots we've encountered.IT felt like our own private pond and getaway up in the mountains. It's well located to get to several places but still feels isolated. We enjoyed the critters that would visit each day and night and loaded our cameras wil amazing scenary and wildlife images.The check in process was super easy and the owners we incredibly kind and accomodating. I highly recommend this location. It's clean, very well taken care of, and well worth the money.We hope to return!

Annie and her husband were there for us every step! Responded were quick which made for a stress free stay. This place was perfect!! It was spacious for 8 of us! Clean as could be! Cozy beds, beautiful views and our own deer to feed. It was absolutely magical. A quick drive to the skiing. Highly recommend.
