The Location is Away From the Busy Cities and Very Peaceful Environment with Excellent in house Chef who Cooks Indian food to a Next Level. Tea Estate Surrounded by Mountains. The Pond and the Summer hut was a Great Addition to Enjoy a Nice Cold One.

The Roads are not developed like the Cities but My Car was just fine on it. Off road enthusiasts will love it. I enjoyed a patient drive after ages.

Florence Cottage ligt prachtig. fantastisch uitzicht over de bergen, de 5 Knuckles. Het hele huisje bestaat uit een woonkamer met tafel, stoelen en met extra bedbanken en kleine keuken zonder kookgelegenheid, wel met koelkast en waterkoker. Het was prima schoon. Daarnaast is er een aparte ruime slaapkamer, bed ligt goed, ruime badkamer met douche. Alles heerlijk schoon. Dan is er nog een buitenterras met tafel en eetstoelen. Met prachtig uitzicht. Daarnaast is er ook nog een luxe zitje, waar je heerlijk kunt relaxen. Ziet er perfect uit, maar daar hebben wij geen gebruik van gemaakt. Het heerlijke ontbijt was inclusief. Tegen betaling wordt er een uitstekende en heerlijke maaltijd, rice and curry geserveerd. In de aparte keuken van het personeel staat ook een wasmachine. We moesten ivm de slechte weg de huurauto bij een hogere gelegen parkeerplaats laten staan. 2 lieve mannen hielpen ons, al lopend, om onze handbagage en drinkwater naar het huisje te brengen. De 2 manlijke personeelsleden waren superaardig en hebben heerlijk gekookt voor ons. 1 van hun kon redelijk Engels, is ook handig. Met de eigenaar hadden we alleen via whatsapp contact. Ze waren elders, dus niet gezien.

Wat erg tegen viel was de hobbelige weg naar Florence Cottage, was niet te doen voor onze huurauto met veel te lage voorbumper. Tijdens de rit naar het huisje viel door de gaten in de weg de voorbumper van onze huurauto. Met veel moeite hebben we die weer vastgeklikt. Ook was de weg veel te smal voor een auto. De zijkant/onderkant werd daardoor beschadigd. Dat kostte ons uiteindelijk €100 extra. de weg is wel berijdbaar voor een tuktuk, motor, kleine vrachtauto die hoger op de wielen staat. Verders was alles tiptop in orde. Aanrader!

Nice green surroundings, spacious apartment and the host makes delicious food. Reasonably close to the Knuckles Forest Reserve.

The driveway to the appartment is really bad with rocks and holes in the road. Takes about 10 minutes to just get on or off the property. Privacy could also be better, as the plates and glasses that the host uses to serve your food are actually in the appartment you stay in, so he had to enter our place multiple times, while we were just sitting there or laying on the couch.

Very clean. Complimentary services are good.(tea, fruits) Staff is very very helpful. Food is ok. We took only dinner btw. Location is pretty. They arrange transport for other locations as well if u ask. The owner lady is also very helpful.

Little expensive for local people. (Food and Booking charges) Road to the location needs a four wheel drive. Went in our car and it was really difficult. The road has to be concreted. Privacy is little less. (Would be a problem for foreigners as locals are used to the culture.)
