Casa Silvana - Villas del Palmar

This place is in an excellent location! It’s close to the beach and quiet in the evening. There are lots of great food choices and shopping, super close to town.

The interior was super dark and everything is generally dated/in need of updating. For the price, I expected a nicer place.

Everything. Excellent location, pool was perfect, beach was perfect, no rocks or coral. Close to a ton of restaurants, pizza place across the street, and Taco place down the street were wonderful. Lots of supplies in the kitchen. Ton of towels, beach towels and bath. Drying rack outside for wet suits, so nice (I bought one for home, I liked it so much). Maid service 2 times a week. Safe and monitored. Easy to get in and out, A/C worked, Really big, lots of room for the kids, comfortable beds. Shampoo in the showers. Soap in the kitchen. What eles could you ask for!

$271 a night was a lot for us. Could have used a microwave, but there was an airfryer, stove, and oven. There was a lot of construction going on and could be loud by the pool. Some mosquitoes at night if you were in the living room with windows open. Overall, it was wonderful.

I like that the property had shampoo, towels, clean beds, water and the esentials

Perfect location. Immediate access to the beach and good eating. Far enough away from the hubbub of downtown to minimize nighttime noise.

Two of the rooms emanated a very, very strong mold smell. You could grow mushrooms in your nostrils. I would've felt unsafe sleeping in those bedrooms. The smell permeated the house, so we had to close those rooms off. Effectively, the LIVABLE portions of the house were much smaller than the advertised size of the house. That was by far the main problem. Mold smell also in a bathroom upstairs and cabinets in kitchen. It's just everywhere. Also the furniture looked filthy and stained with sweaty bodies--but I suppose that's inevitable in a beachside casa.
