About this house rental
This jungle hideaway is an extremely peaceful retreat located at the top of “Gringo Hill.” IT HAS FAST INTERNET, just 4 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from the town square. You can walk to downtown (or the main surf spot) in less than 5 minutes. Stunning tropical terraced gardens spanning over an acre provide complete privacy.
The Space
We’ve owned the house for 25 years and have maintained it as a jungle paradise, while still including all modern amenities. The house is air-conditioned and features two new palapa-style structures and an 8-meter tower that offers one of the best views of Sayulita. The property stays cool year-round thanks to the shade provided by the massive fig tree and other fig trees. The trees also bring the beautiful sounds of birdsong. The property also features one of the largest pools in Sayulita, measuring 35 feet by 15 feet by 6 feet deep. The pool is also heated.
The main house has a large kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The central deck, built among the trees, overlooks the pool and the ocean.
Each detached palapa cottage has one bedroom and shares a bathroom. One palapa also features a loft-style bedroom with a queen-size bed. It’s a truly magical loft where you can sleep beneath a roof of palm fronds. Walk up the garden path to the top of the hillside to find the palapa with the lookout. Although Casa Encantada can comfortably sleep 10, it doesn’t feel like a giant, empty house if you’re, say, only 4 years old. The rooms are spread out and completely private.
Amenities and Common Areas
Casa Encantada has two entrances. One is on Marlin Street, providing quick and easy access to the beach and town. The other is via Puesta Del Sol, with access for cars and golf carts right next to the lawn. This is our beloved family home that we’re happy to share with you.

Internet:
We have a fast fiber-optic internet connection through our service provider and numerous wireless access points that provide robust Wi-Fi coverage throughout the property. Average download speeds of 150 MB/s and upload speeds of 38 MB/s. This is more than enough for downloading movies and video calls.
Housekeeping service is provided twice a week. And the gardens are maintained by Mario.
