Very spacious and clean, great kitchen and great there was a dedicated washing machine as we were travelling around different countries. The parking was excellent and secure. Very close to local transport. Owners very helpful and accommodating

Terrible rip-off. Do not stay here.

Very poor communication with the host. not at all easy to find the property. directions were inadequate. I had to cancel the booking after 6 hours in the property but she told me that a refund was only possible if Booking.com agreed. I contacted Booking and they said fine. She then refused to give me the refund. So she lied to me. She charged me nearly 2,000 euros for 6 hours in the property. She had her apartment for 13 days without me in it and made me pay the full amount. I do not trust her at all. She has no heart, no compassion - she is only interested in money.

Nice stay, friendly hosts.

Due to technical (water) problems the booked accommodation wasn't available, but we were directed to a great other apartment close by.

A nice Nespresso Voltesso coffee machine was available in the apartment and 6 cups were provided. Unfortunately, cups for this machine aren't easy to buy in the nearby area. A request about where we could buy these coffee cups, sent to both our hosts, was never answered, so we weren't able to use the machine after a short period.

Not quite what we expected

Parking under the apartment block was convenient, and a lift from here took you up to your floor. The apartment was spacious and quiet, and very comfortable, with good wifi. There are restaurants within easy walking distance, and Luxemburg city is only a (free) bus ride away.

The day before our stay, we were contacted and told that Ivy's Corner was unavailable "for technical reasons", and told to go to another address. We had to telephone twice for the owner to meet us outside. The replacment apartment was not quite finished: there was a heavy mirror leaning against the hall wall (unsupported), there was no TV and the coffee machine did not work. We thought that there was no washing machine, but were told that this was in a room off the car park in the basement. I had booked Ivy's corner partly because of the walk-in shower, but the replacment apartment had a shower over the bath - difficult to use for the elderly! You have to use your key to get the car out of the car park, and park in the road outside in order to take the keys back the apartment - as requested.

Modern, beautifully furnished, covered parking on site

This apartment is spacious, modern and beautifully furnished. It was clean and comfortable. It also had covered parking if you are traveling by car. The kitchen was well stocked even with some food goods to cook with. While the location is not in the heart of the city, there is a free bus (line 5) that will take you there. The bus stop is 500 ft from the apartment.

Had some initial trouble with host responsiveness but ok once we arrived. While the kitchen was well stocked the bathroom had absolutely no toiletries. No soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. We literally had to go to the store to buy some. The bedroom toilet seat was broken so luckily there is another separate toilet to use instead. The garage fob didn’t work so it was a hassle to get in as it had to be manually opened from the inside to enter. Docked a point for these annoyances.

This is an extremely well looked after apartment that has all the amenities to make you feel welcome

The property has everything that you would need to make you feel at home i.e. plush rugs, comfy bed, excellent mood lighting, spacious shower box with excellent shower power just to mention a few. There is no clutter in the apartment and everything has its place. We stayed at the end of autumn and the place was lovely and warm thanks to the good heating. There are electric blinds on all windows/doors to keep 100% of the daylight out. There is ample free street parking that is located within the cul-de-sac.

There is little that can be faulted. Personally I would have preferred an american/drip coffee machine than a Lavazza coffee machine, there could have been a toaster in the kitchen and it would have been nice if the duvet would have been one size bigger.
