La Fonda Aeropuerto

Location is great, easy to commute by bus, close to the airport. Host was super nice

The place was immaculate and smelled fresh including the bedding. It was easy to access and the owner responded quickly to messages. It is close to the airport (about 15 minutes, costed us €14) and there are taxis few metres away.

We arrived late but couldn't find any shops to buy milk and tea bags for a much needed cup of tea.

It was in nice area! And close to airport.

There was no hot water in the shower.

Location very close to the airport (15 min drive) and close to supermarkets. Clean.

The host wasn't the friendliest character, but rather gave off some weird vibes : not introducing himself to us when meeting us and only speaking to me and completely ignoring that my boyfriend was there too. The whole Hostal has this weird vibe all over the place, as if there are some shady things going on in the rooms. During the evening, while we were preparing to go to sleep, a man came and knocked on the door of the room next to us (with which we should have shared the bathroom, but we think no one was in there). We later saw the same person knocking on other doors too. He simply gave us a weird vibe of, as if he was doing that just to check us out. Anyway, moving on, people can be strange I guess. If you are a SOLO FEMALE TRAVELLER, you'd probably feel very UNSAFE here. I personally felt that way, even if I was with my boyfriend all the time. There was a fridge and a microwave in the common area shared with us and the other room (which was empty I think), but nothing else. Not even a cup or a glass to drink water or to make yourself a tea. The description of the place didn't include kitchenette features anyway, but it was quite disappointing to not have at least a glass for drinking your water in the morning. The door of the room and bathroom had a nail in the mechanism, intentionally installed there you can only close the door by using the key. A bit uncomfortable if, for example, my partner goes to the bathroom in the night, he had to lock me in the room in order to close the door. Simply, weird. We were also asked for a 50 euros deposit for eventual damages, which was, let's say, better than the 200 euro deposit that they me too on their policies. Probably they cut it down to 50 because we only stayed for 1 night.
