The little palace next to the sea

Es war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles da, was man braucht. Der Blick und die Nähe zum Meer sind toll. Ideal, um vor dem Frühstück kurz zu schwimmen. Es sind eine Menge Kneipen und Restaurants in der Nähe und auch in die Stadt kann man gut laufen.

Oropax sind teilweise für die Nächte nicht schlecht, weil manchmal sehr früh der Müll geleert wird.

un peu loin du centre de Rythmno (20/25 minutes à pieds), place de parking dans le garage nécessite pas mal de manœuvre pour se garer.

Für uns war die Wohnung für die 3 Wochen genau die richtige Wahl. Separates Schlafzimmer, offene Küche zum Wohnzimmer, Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer. Den Tiefgaragenplatz haben wir selten genutzt, da an der Promenade genug Plätze frei waren. Die Entfernung zur Innenstadt war mit 15 min fußläufig gut erreichbar, Supermarkt keine 500m hinter dem Haus. Ioanna war jederzeit zu erreichen und hat unsere Wünsche bzgl. einer zweiten Decke direkt erfüllen können. Zwischendurch hat sie Wechsel der Bettwäsche sowie Handtücher angeboten.

Teilweise sehr laute Motorengeräusche der Nachbarn durch Roller bzw. PKWs. Ebenso der Lärm der Straße ist bei offener Balkontür bzw. Fenster zu hören, wenn wieder einmal die Motoren aufheulen. Bei geschlossenem Fenster alles ok.

Accommodation is not a typical summer apartment, but is actually a regular every-day apartment, which means it is very spacious (living room, kitchen with the oven, terrace and large bedroom and bathroom are all quite big), has all the utilities (utensils, cleaning stuff, iron and iron board, washing machine, lots of spare towels/linen) so you have a feeling like you are in a comfortable city apartment, but with a sea view :) Location is also great, quiet, but right on the beach and a short walk to the city centre, with lots of restaurants/cafes/stores right next to the apartment. Price was lower than average for the area. We were a bit worried since there are very little reviews for this place, but that appears to be the case because it is rarely rented out and instead family who owns the apartment stays there often. Air-conditioning is in the living room, strong and free, wifi super-fast. Bed in the bedroom was super comfy and large for 2 person. Living room has 2 small sofas and a chair, great for relaxing but not for sleeping, so apartment is ideal for couples. Owners waited for us on the check-in, explained everything and were always available if we needed anything.

Just a small thing, that I prefer air-conditioning in the bedroom, but that is I think more my problem :) Apart from that accommodation was by far the best I ever had, and I have been going to Greece for over 10 years now. Also great value for money
