Oleadas Maderas

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der casita olita. Die Ausstattung der Küche war perfekt und die Ventilatoren sind ziemlich stark, was bei der Hitze wichtig ist. Die Kommunikation mit den Inhabern/Personal war freundlich, wenn auch trotz Ankündigung zu keinem Zeitpunkt persönlich. Als wichtiger Punkt sollte genannt werden, dass der Bau der Straße abgeschlossen ist, was uns sehr positiv überrascht hat. Preis-Leistung war Angesicht der Preise in der Umgebung von san Juan del sur wahrscheinlich ok. Wir hatten bisher jedoch schon deutlich bessere Preis- Leistungsverhältnisse auf unserer Reise durch Nicaragua.

Etwas ungewöhnlich war die Abtrennung zwischen Badezimmer/toilette und Schlafzimmer mit lediglich einem Vorhang. War aber nicht tragisch.

We loved our stay at Oleadas Maderas! It was just what we needed. The place was very clean, it had all the amenities we needed and had a relaxing atmosphere. Perfect place to escape for a few days and enjoy the beach. Marielle was excellent! She was quick to answer our questions and made us feel welcome.

The area is under construction right now. The municipality is building a costal road that goes right by the beach. At the moment to get to the beach you have to get through the construction. Made us feel sad the changes happening in Playa Maderas they took out a lot of the green that used to surround the area.

The perfect placement close to the beach but yet possibility to get into San Juan Del Sur via shuttle or Taxi, shuttle 5 dollar roundtrip and taxi around 15-25 dollar one-way (good when you have been to Pali Supermarket and shopped for groceries). Awesome hosts that have an answer to everything and knows all there is. The height it was on made the sunsets nice to watch and gave possibilities to train intervalls in the hills which was nice, if you´re into that.

Everything was so nice and comfy at the Wave Studio, very nice hosts making sure you always have everything you need! Would definitely come back :) Thank you Marc & Marielle
