Whispering Pines is NOT licensed for weddings or events, but we ARE licensed for events for up to 100 guests one mile down the road at Apples Bed & Breakfast Inn, a property we also own. See bottom of listing or inquire for details.
Come and relax at this 4,000 square foot beautiful estate!
There is plenty of room for your friends and family to enjoy this spectacular Estate, which has more than 60 trees on 1.2 acres, including a trickling stream and Gazebo in the backyard, which is fenced in for children.
Enjoy the spacious open floor plan with Gourmet Kitchen and two dining rooms for cooking or bringing home take-out. Warm up next to the crackling fireplace, watch the Big Screen TV. The Estate comes fully equipped with clean linens, towels, cooking utensils, spices, appliances, 3 TVs, Spa, Pool Table and Internet.
There are three large bedrooms including the Master Suite, which is located downstairs on the ground floor. The Master Suite has a California King Bed, large walk-in closet, and an en-suite Master bath which has a Spa bathtub and walk-in shower. Open the sliding patio doors of your Master Suite and onto your own deck to enjoy a Hot Tub Spa under the Whispering Pines.
Upstairs there are 2 large Bedrooms and a Loft. One bedroom has a Queen bed and the other bedroom has one double bed and bunk bed. These two bedrooms have their own separate sink areas and share a Jack and Jill bathroom.
The upstairs Loft area has a Queen pull out bed, electric fireplace, TV area and a game table to play cards and board games. The living room also has a Queen pull-out bed. We also keep a top-of-the-line blow up bed in the upstairs closet.
Strategically located, you will be just 1 mile to Big Bear Lake and minutes to ski resorts, golf course, and downtown stores. Beautiful, serene setting. It is all waiting for you only a couple of hours away! (From LA or Orange County) Plenty of parking space for cars, boats, and RVs, right outside on the large, dual-entry driveway.

We stay in Big Bear every year for ski week with the kids. This house was so lovely and comfortable. Highly recommend.

So much space! It was lovely to have choices on where to sit and where to eat. The wood fireplace works well and provides the lovely smell of wood burning and the crackles of the wood burning. The outside of the property is gorgeous. It snowed the second day and our grandkids who had never seen snow where enchanted. Very safe as the whole area is fenced in. The owners were very responsive, and the home is well equipped. There are so many kitchen cabinets, you need to search a bit. The forced air heating kept us very cozy. It was great.

The house is very comfortable and the back yard is amazing. This is my favorite place to come and relax. The only problem is that they have very bad customer service. Santiago and Marcos are very rude. We never got the TV’s fixed and Marcos is always spying in the back yard, he comes in n out without alerting anyone. By the way Marcos is the maintenance person, very rude
