About this cabin rental
Winterfell is a cozy two-bedroom cabin in the heart of the historic Upper Canyon neighborhood. This elegant mountain home combines lots of charm with well-appointed design features such as sleek appliances, modern furniture, and a comfortable dining set.
Outdoors, guests will find a covered front porch, a table with chairs, and plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy yourself. A great corner deck offers a hot tub situated right among the pine trees.
The front door leads right into the living room, with an open floor plan and a large, wall-mounted TV, pellet stove, and comfortable couches. The living area opens up into the spacious, well stocked kitchen and bar, allowing ample room for family dinners and holiday celebrations. A custom dining area is also right here, ready and waiting for meals, games, and laughter with your family and friends.
The hallway leads to the guest and primary bedrooms that each offer nice queen beds for a good night's sleep. The outdoor living opportunities are amazing, as the large front deck holds the gas grill and the perfect hot tub with plenty of room for four. Other amenities include high speed wireless internet and laundry facilities.
The location of Winterfell cabin is hard to beat, just minutes from the shopping and restaurants of Midtown Ruidoso but secluded enough and tucked away into Upper Canyon to provide privacy, peace, and quiet.
Please remember that Ruidoso is a mountain town with snow and icy conditions during the winter. This can affect driving and parking conditions regardless of the property, driveway, or roads. 4x4 or chains may be required during winter months to access your home.

Property is in a beautiful area. Hot tub was the star of the show. Had some issues with access code provided and got locked out of property one night. Took some time to reach someone who eventually went out and opened door. Overall, the actual rental was nice for weekend getaway.

Poor check in process, they changed lock code the moment during the check in, we could't actually check in 20 minutes after as we had to call to see what was happening. Cabin was clean in general but not what i would expect for a rental. The master bad room and shower doors were broken and would not close correctly, the kitchen faucet was loose and maintenance had to come to fix it during the stay; the front screen door would not stay closed; the rear door to the cabin was blocked, it had sand bags stacked against the outside screen door, making the door unusable. Furniture is old and not comfortable (beds, sofas, outside chairs), bathrooms were very dated, but we have to admit we enjoy the peaceful environment, nobody mess with you; hub-tub and grill were amazing; kitchen was full stocked with everything you need. Area close to downtown/ doordash availability.
