We love this cabin. It has the best view out the screened in porch of any place we have been to in the Ruidoso area. The owner is terrific to work with and is very helpful.

We really enjoyed the home-y log cabin. My kids were so disappointed that we didn't live there now! at the end of a street high above the upper canyon, so it was easily the most secluded place I've stayed in Ruidoso, and I've been a lot! from the front door and the screen porch, you do see any sign of anyone else, so my kids were very adventurous about it!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Quiet, lots of wildlife and you could here the river. Awesome screened in patio to read, work or relax. Not fancy, but clean and rustic. We loved it. Close to midtown for dinner or a Lost Hiker Pint. Will stay there again.

Cabin was mostly as expected based on description and other reviews. We had an issue with the bathroom during our stay and did not get any answer or help from the the contact number we were given (just voicemail, over and over). The contact number given on the paperwork for the cabin is different than Evolve has, which was different than what was written on a white board in the cabin. Confusing, but I believe we left messages with the correct one that was on the paperwork in the cabin. About the Cabin: The stove is quite old and hard to work with (large coil only works on high, other coils have some similar issues, controls are not easy to read on some, oven seems to work fine). Street light outside of the main bedroom was flooding the room with light at night, that window could use something to block the light other than the mini blind with thin 4 panel curtains. Some trim was falling down near the bathroom hall ceiling, floor creaks everywhere, the smell of dust permeates the master bedroom. I thought it was just me until my wife commented on the intense smell of dust before I said anything. The master bed was a bit lumpy, but very comfortable other than the dust smell. The screen door to the patio is new and looks great, but there is a hole in the patio screen near it that begs to be patched.
