About this house rental
Townhouse is centrally located on highway TN 62. Here's just how convenient shopping, dining and fun is to my home. Go east and less than one mile on Oak Ridge Highway, TN 62, and there is a Walgreens and a brand new Ingle's super market. Close by is highway TN 162 which is a freeway to the west side of Knoxville, where your will find upscale shopping, restaurants and a Kroger or a Publix super market just off the freeway. And finally, if you drive North West to the town of Oak Ridge which is about 10+ minutes away, it too is overflowing with good restaurants and shopping. The only transportation/logistics drawback that we are aware of is that Oak Ridge highway, TN 62, is very busy during am and pm rush hours. But, with a little planning of your departures and arrivals you can schedule around any inconvenience.
Kitchen is fully furnished with dinnerware sets, pots and pans with all the kitchen utensils needed to prepare full meals at home. The appliances ware modern and work magnificently. Dishwasher, washer and dryer, everything you need to be home for the duration. Full size bathroom has a step in shower/tub combination. And then, there is the comfy king bedroom and the bunk bed bedroom with two Queen beds and two single beds.

Really enjoyed my stay here, had everything I needed and it was comfortable, and clean. If I ever had a question owner would respond quickly and made check in/out really easy. Would stay here again.

House was very comfortable. The pictures don’t show all the improvements to the home and furniture and we were pleasantly surprised at all the differences. All the beds, the king bed and the bunk beds have super comfortable mattresses. The bunk beds have 10 inch adult mattresses. And the home was spotless. This is the third house that I have stayed at in this neighborhood. It is clear to me, that this location is very safe with kids outside playing and primary made up with hard working families. The covered back porch is where we sat and had morning coffee. Not certain when I'll be back to Knoxville, but I will be checking to see if this house is available again when I do.

Steep stairs to entrance and especially to bedrooms Loved code for easy check in. Owner allowed us to check in a little earlier.
Nice size rooms. Lots of hooks for hanging clothes, towels. Really liked the openness of the living room and dining room. A plus to have coffee provided. Kitchen was well equipped.
No hair dryer, body wash/bar soap, dish cloth to clean dishes or ice.

The property was easy to access; two codes were initially provided, one of which worked. We were unable to enjoy sitting on the deck and allowing the kids to play in the yard, as the neighbor's dog ran along the fence, barking and jumping aggressively toward us. (Obviously that is not the homeowner's fault; just be aware.) In terms of the cleanliness, I have rental properties in MI and have high standards. There was trash (candy wrappers, water bottles, etc.) under all three of the beds. I used the onsite laundry, but only after cleaning the washer's agitator because it was so gunked up with product and was moldy. The kitchen is equipped, but as someone else has mentioned in their review, there is a musty odor. Finally, I was uncomfortable with the fact that upon check-out, I needed to take out the garbage and other clean-up tasks, but not strip the bedding off to be washed... My recommendations for renovations would be to update the kitchen cupboards and take out the old carpet.
