About this cabin rental
This is a 2 season rental. There is no heat source. It is open from June-Aug.
Welcome to our rustic 2 bedroom cabin in Minong, Wisconsin, on 450 acre Pokegama Lake. The cabin is close to the water, up a small slope from the lake.
Great water front for wading, splashing, swimming.
Please bring your own bed sheets and towels. Queen size bed, 2 bunk beds and 1 futon.
We do not charge a cleaning fee - Please leave cabin as you found it. If you cannot bring your own, we can work with a service, for approximately $60 additional.
Ideal for 2 adults and 2 kids. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, Bedroom 2 has 2 small bunk bed type beds. There is a futon in the living room.
There is 1 air conditioner in main bedroom. (No central air)

Weber Gas Grill on the Deck.
Pokegama is a nice, clear lake offering northern pike, bass, and pan fish.
The lake has a public ramp for launching your trailered boat.
Fire Pit near the lake with plenty of firewood for your use.
Lake has a sandy, level entrance - great for wading, splashing.
For your usage:
(4) New Stand Up Paddle Boards, (4) Kayaks, and a Canoe.
Cabin to Lake is very close - about 25 yards down a gentle slope. However, IF required, there is also a access to drive a car right to the boat dock. Makes it easy for all ages.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck while listening to the loons.
2 miles from Black Bear Golf course, an 18 hole, par 72, public course.
Day trips to Hayward, or Duluth/Superior are common diversions.
The town of Minong is 3 miles away. It has a bait /fishing store, grocery store, an ice cream shop, A&W restaurant and a few great restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
We use to have a no pets policy. But will consider. Let us know what pet you have. Thanks.

We had a great time. The cabin has an absolutely adorable retro feel and it's exactly what we love. We'd definitely stay here again.

We choose this property because of the location to water. It was great to have the ability to walk right to the water and get in. The children really enjoyed the paddle boat and my wife and I enjoyed the kayaks. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Reminded us of our grandparents home. Good memories. Thanks again. We're already taking about next year.

I chose this VRBO due to the lake, ability to swim, and the available watercraft for us to use. Our kids loved everything about it and the cabin was just big enough. Thank you!
