About this house rental
Charming, sun- filled free standing house in a prime location in Ptown's desirable West End. While just a short distance to the heart of town, the location provides guests with a quiet and private retreat! This home originally dates from 1850, has a large, lush garden and has been completely renovated and expanded.
Downstairs features an open dining/ living room with cathedral, beamed ceilings, wide-plank antique pine floors, a gas fireplace and a set of double doors that open out to the enchanting garden. There is a separate dining area with a farmhouse-style dining table with seating for up to 8 people. The open kitchen has new, stainless steel appliances, plenty of counterspace and is fully equipped to prepare meals whether it be inside or grilling in the garden.
There is one bedroom and one bathroom downstairs with the other two bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs. The second level is sunny and airy with high ceilings and skylights. The upstairs bedrooms both have roomy, en-suite bathrooms. with excellent storage. All bedrooms have super comfortable king size beds and TV's with a desk located in one of the bedrooms. All 3 bathrooms have shower stalls and are renovated with top-of-the-line finishes.
The beautiful, fully landscaped garden features 2 separate bluestone patio areas for dining and relaxing, a dining table for up to 8 people and a separate lounge/seating area. In addition there is a gas grill and an enclosed outdoor shower. Surrounded by hedges and landscaping, the garden has a great sense of privacy. From coffee in the morning, daytime relaxing or evening BBQ and cocktails, the spacious garden is a rare find and a true oasis which guests love!
The house has central air conditioning, with separate controls for each room, beautiful wood floors throughout, washer/dryer, cable/ wifi, Sonos Sound System and radiant heated floors in the baths. Parking for up to 2 cars.
“Nickerson Gardens” is located on a lovely street in Provincetown's historic West End, which is the part of town closer to Herring Cove beach. It's a few minute walk to favorites such as Relish Bakery & Sandwich Shop, Liz's Cafe, Victor's or Sal's Place Restaurant with beach-side dining on the Commercial St waterfront. It is a 5 minute walk to Mussel Beach Gym and a short walk to the Boatslip. Walk or bike to the beach and anywhere in town!
Available for weekly, 7 day rental (Saturday-Saturday) June, July and August. Available for shorter periods spring and fall as well as long term rental.

This property is beautifully appointed with great indoor space that was immaculate and an outdoor area that is kept private with the lovely landscaping. The house had everything we needed, and some things we didn’t know we needed like a blender! The location is close to town and an easy walking distance but still quiet at night. We could easily park two cars in the driveway which was a real gift since parking can be tough. The hosts could not have been nicer and wanted to make sure everything met our expectations (it did!). We will return again and again since we found the perfect spot.

This was my first time staying in this Nickerson house. The owners have done a great job with the updates and keeping the expected PTown charm. The rooms and bathrooms were a nice size and the amenities were as expected. Although the weather kept us from utilizing the outdoor space much, it was super nice and would be great for some our door meals and morning coffee with the sun coming up. The owners were extremely accommodating and easy to work with. Great stay.

We had a wonderful three days at this beautiful home on a great, and super quiet, street. Easy walking distance to everything Ptown has to offer. We were 3 couples and everyone had nothing but great things to say about the home. Super clean, thoughtful touches and very well laid out. You simply must make time to relax in the backyard as it’s lovely and enchanting. We hope to come back soon.

Had a great stay at 25 Nickerson. The house is beautiful and included a peaceful and secluded backyard. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Definitely recommend this spot!
