This luxury second-floor Santa Cruz beach rental located a few houses from the beach exudes Mediterranean charm and offers panoramic ocean views of Monterey Bay. It was selected to appear on the show Sweet Retreats, which airs nationally on the ABC Live Well Network. A spacious living room, dining room and kitchen open onto an expansive rear deck. During your days, a short walk, without crossing any streets, leads to the top of a wood, railed stairway to the beach, and an outdoor shower awaits you upon your return. Spend a romantic evening listening to the waves crashing on the beach or drown them out with the surround sound state-of-the-art home theatre system for DVDs.
Three bedrooms and two baths offer comfortable sleeping in beds for up to seven guests. The master bedroom, which also opens onto the rear deck, includes a gas fireplace, an HDTV, a Blu-ray player and Apple TV. A large walk-in closet provides ample storage for all your travel apparel. Enjoy the wonders of the natural world with stone floors in both bathrooms, granite countertops throughout, and three radiant skylights.
This remodeled Santa Cruz beach house has insulated walls and double-pane windows, which will allow you to sleep peacefully even if the kids are still awake. So that you don’t lose touch with the outside world, high-speed wireless fiber internet and video streaming are provided. Finally, a high-efficiency washer and dryer will ensure that your clothes come home just as clean as they were when you arrived.
Our vacation home is packed with everything you will need to enjoy your escape, including: five beds; hypoallergenic comforter for each bed; two complete baths with granite countertops and stone floors and walls; a 55 inch 1080P LCD TV and 5 speaker in-ceiling surround sound in living room; a 40 inch 1080P LCD TV in master bedroom; Blu-ray Players for each TV, allowing for viewing both Blu-ray Discs and DVDs; Apple TV for each TV; beautiful gas fireplaces in both living room and master bedroom; a smartphone connection to the speakers in living room; a fully stocked kitchen that includes a refrigerator, a dual fuel range, a dishwasher and a microwave; and a dining room that accommodate six people at a table and three at a bar.
We are located 40 minutes south of the San Jose Airport and 1.5 hours south of the San Francisco Airport and 30 minutes north of Carmel and Monterey. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is about a 10 minute drive; ride the historic Big Dipper and enjoy a great family outing. The Santa Cruz harbor is just over a mile to the west, where you can check out the lighthouse and some nice restaurants. Pleasure Point, where you can experience some of the best surfing in the United States, is only a short mile away. Capitola is less than 3 miles to the east; take a walk down the pier or cruise around the local shops.
Unfortunately, there is no access to garage and no indoor storage for bicycles.
