Escape to Deer Lodge, a beautiful and spacious retreat boasting 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests. This home is designed for an unforgettable getaway, offering an abundance of amenities and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The kitchen is a chef's delight, fully equipped with modern appliances and thoughtfully arranged for family-style cooking. Cleanup is a breeze with the convenient dishwasher. A large, gleaming granite counter provides stylish bar-style seating, while a generously sized picnic table easily accommodates 8 for meals. There is also a piano located in the Dining Room. The home features new carpeting in 2025 throughout the main living areas, complemented by porcelain tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. The living room's open design creates a welcoming embrace, featuring a charming wood-burning fireplace as the focal point, plush and comfortable seating, and a flat-screen TV for entertainment.
Upstairs, discover two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own connecting, private bathroom. A convenient half bath is located just off the living room. The master bedroom is particularly spacious, featuring a king-size bed. The second bedroom offers a double bed and a twin bed. Downstairs, an exciting game room awaits, complete with a pool table, a wet bar, and another TV for hours of entertainment. The downstairs bedroom includes a queen bed and a twin bed, with a full bathroom conveniently located across the hall.
Step outside onto the very large, secluded deck, a true oasis for relaxation. A really great location for exploring Yosemite. I travelled with my kids age 23, 21 and 18 and they loved the pool table and hot tub after a day of hiking or white water rafting the Tuolumne River. Be sure to stop at one of the bigger grocery stores on the way in (Raley's in Oakhurst was good) if travelling from Fresno direction. The Pine Tree Market is walking distance from house and was surprisingly well stocked for such a small store. The house has lots of pots/pans/etc. but because of the wildlife you have to clear out all food so there is not the typical stuff you find left by the previous guests. The coffee pot was drip but there was a Keurig in one of the cabinets. Whatever unopened food you don't use you can donate at the office where the free washer/dryers are located. There is another small market/post office/golf shop by the gas station nearby. Check out the Swinging Bridge in Wawona (not to be confused with the one near Yosemite Village which you should also visit) both are great swimming holes if the weather is good. Would definitely recommend this place. If you are there in Summer keep the blinds closed during the day and then open the doors in the evening and let the cool air in. No AC was not a problem for us in July but we weren't home during the day when it would be warm inside.

Beautiful cabin. Very comfortable. Good for larger family groups. Easy drive to Yosemite Valley. Nice little general store walking distance. Well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

This beautiful property was exactly as described. 3 nice bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. Fireplace worked well. Family used the hot tub two evenings. The chainsaw carvings on the deck were a nice touch. Kitchen and dining table were nice for 7 guests.

I felt that the property was a little bit over priced for what it was. It is a large, spacious, clean home and nice home but a bit to pricey compared to other places I've stayed that are similar.
