This southern part of the island location has streets that are only 3 deep, compared to most of the island where streets are 8-12 deep, so the beaches are much less crowded
Several restaurants and Kure Beach Pier/park are only 4 short blocks away, an easy walk and even easier bike ride
Ride bikes to Fort Fisher Aquarium or all of Carolina Beach’s retail attractions

The check-in procedure was easy, liked how we could change the door code for the week so its easier to remember. Lots of room, lots of deck space, close to beach, big tvs, plenty of dinnerwear, pots, pans, crockpot, pancake griddle, etc. Only bad part is the beds are VERY hard and everyone's backs hurt after a night of sleep. And we are pretty sure the bedding was NOT washed, or maybe it wasnt dried well, and smelled musty? But, the person in the basement bedroom said they saw drool marks on their sheets, so they washed them right away vefore sleeping that night. (But, that was pretty easily fixed. ) I wish there was more toilet paper / paper towel / garbage bags too, as we ran out before our last day - but maybe thats something we were supposed to bring? ( I guess I'm not sure?) Still its a pretty nice place!

This house was perfect for our family weekend away! The hosts were available for questions and responded right away. The house is very close to the beach. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with our beach weekend but there was plenty to do around the area of the house.

Lovely home! My family loved the different levels where could be together but also be together in the main area. Well stocked kitchen and the short walk to the beach was amazing. Would 100% do Kure Me Away again. Loved it!

The owners were wonderful communicators, and the location of the house was amazing. However, the house needs to be better cleaned for sure. There was a smell coming from the garbage disposal, we saw more than one unfriendly bug in and out of the house, the upstairs bathroom was missing a towel rod. Not related to cleanliness but it would be helpful if the rooms not facing the ocean had curtains installed as the sun is up till past 8pm which affects kids who would need to go to sleep earlier.
