Apartment (sleeps 5-6) with pool and a short walk to Trevi

We have stayed in rentals for many years. This was the most outstanding!! It had the feel of a real home, not an IKEA built rental. The kitchen is supplied with everything one could need. The apartment is spacious, airy and perfectly clean. The pool is an added attraction. We were in it every day. Fiona and her brother Adrian are wonderful hosts. Responsive to our requests; very helpful with information about the surrounding area. It is a 12-15 minute walk up to town, and although Trevi is not noisy or overrun with tourists, the location of the house makes it very quiet and peaceful. Not just a 5 star review. As the Italians would say 10 + lode!!! (Note: There are cats and a dog on the property, should one be allergic to animals.)

Four of us stayed in the two bedroom apartment, and we LOVED it! Fiona is an amazing host and has created the perfect retreat -- I can not imagine a more idyllic setting! The garden around the beautiful pool is lush, and Fiona left us a carafe of homemade Limoncello, made with lemons from her tree. What a treat! Trevi is a lovely small medieval town with romantic little alleys, and a charming square with a couple of lovely restaurants but far fewer tourists than the larger hill towns. It's an easy walk up the hill from Fiona's place. And it's easy drive to any number of beautiful Umbrian towns nearby. We would love to return!

Fiona's apartment was the last place we stayed on our trip and it was also the best. The villa is very roomy with comfortable sofas in a large loungeroom, great, well-equipped kitchen to cook in and 3 bedrooms, which suited us perfectly. There was a terrace just outside with a large table and of course the beautiful pool to swim in and lounge by. Fiona was the perfect host, full of information about the area. We had a couple of yummy meals in Trevi, which is in walking distance (uphill). We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Fiona's home is perfection. Walkable to town but in a rural setting. A pristine pool and a lovable dog, Lapo. It's wonderfully simple and a makes for the best Umbrian vacation. We're already planning on coming back next year for a bit longer. Fiona was all we could ask for in a host, too.

We stayed in Trevi for a week and were able to enjoy the property and the surroundings. The pool was great! The host very friendly!

We had five wonderful nights in Fiona’s gorgeous villa. The large flat is spacious, well-equipped and very clean. The pool is so nice and refreshing in the middle of a lovely garden. The children loved playing with Lapo the dog and cuddling the cats. Fiona is a gracious and welcoming host and keeps the place so beautiful. Trevi is a short but very steep walk away. Many good restaurants and a lovely atmosphere without many tourists.

This a very clean, spacious, and well-equipped villa just outside of the beautiful hill town of Trevi. Fiona is a friendly, responsive host. We spent 10 enjoyable days in her 3-bedroom apartment, taking advantage of the swimming pool and short walk to Trevi where there are many good (and inexpensive!) restaurants. This was our third trip to this part of Umbria and not the last. I think we have found our new home base!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful location with splendid views. A short walk to Trevi where we enjoyed our first caffe latte in the morning. We stayed for an entire month at Fiona's and Richards place and had the most amazing, relaxing time. We came together with our 3-year old twin girls who were nothing but in love with Lapo the dog, who lives in the same building together with the owners. We enjoyed the pool a lot (don't be afraid of the salt water - it's very gentle) which is located in a beautiful garden. Umbria, with all its small cities is amazing and surprisingly non-touristic. Same applies to Trevi, the small city which is located 10 walking-minutes up the steep hill. We cooked a lot in the very, very well equipped kitchen and very much enjoyed the very easy and nice ways of the owners, Fiona and Richard. Big recommendation!

We have become enormously fond of this property over a number of years. It is comfortable and well-equipped. The swimming pool is ace. The area is full of architectural and cultural treasures, not to mention fine food and drink, all within easy reach.

After 12 weeks in the spring of 2017, we decided to return in the fall of 2018 for six weeks to observe the olive harvest. The groves are prepared during the spring. We enjoyed the stay last year and this year was just as good. The hosts were marvelous and ensured that any needs were taken care of. We stayed in the "Traviata", a 3 bedroom unit with marvelous views of Trevi, a private patio, grill and all necessary equipment. There is a fireplace with plenty of firewood available and heating which was very nice as the days turned cool in early November. The villa is a short walk to Trevi. There are several good hiking opportunities right from the villa. We cannot say enough about how enjoyable both stays have been. We did not use the pool this year as our stay was through October and half of November and it was a bit too cool (for us). We highly recommend the Traviata.

We hebben met ons gezin met 3 grotere kinderen (11 tot 16 jaar) in augustus 10 dagen verbleven in het grotere appartement bij Fiona en Richard en dat is enorm meegevallen. Fiona en Richard zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en hebben ons heel goed ontvangen. Het appartement is ook heel goed uitgerust en heel proper en volledig zoals het beschreven stond op de site. Er is een gezellig terras aan en dus vrijwel altijd buiten gegeten en je hebt tegelijk ook heel veel privacy. Het zoutwaterzwembad beneden in de grote tuin is gewoonweg fantastisch. Onze dochter heeft ook veel gespeeld met de bordercollie en de kleine katjes die in de tuin rondlopen. Zoals overal in Italië heb je bij zonsondergang wel de muggen die opduiken, maar met een muggenstick of spray is dat snel opgelost. Het vlakbij gelegen Trevi op wandelafstand is mooi en gezellig om 's avonds uit eten te gaan en er is heel wat te zien in de buurt ook, zoals Assisi, Todi, Orvieto, Romeinse watervallen bij Terni, Bevagna, natuurpark Monte sibilli,... Our family of five absolutely adored our week in Trevi staying in the three bedroom apartment. To be able to walk into a beautiful village (Trevi) for a coffee, wine or dinner without hoards of tourists but also have access to a gorgeous pool and spacious self catering accomodation is rare. The pool, garden and views are stunning and we enjoyed sharing it with Fiona/Richard and another delightful family staying at the property. The three bedroom apartment is comfortable and functional and we ate on the verandah whenever we were home (this verandah does not have the amazing view but it is shaded and cool in the afternoon and lovely to sit out for all meals). There were mosquitoes however we managed it with spray and repellent coils so we could still enjoy fresh air and the most amazing view from the windows inside the apartment. Richard and Fiona are wonderful hosts and very generous sharing their knowledge of restaurants and places to visit. The location is also ideal to easily visit Assisi, Montefalco (wineries), Spello (recommend the Roman aqueduct walk and Villa of Mosaics) and much more. Our only regret was that we didn't book for at least 2-3 weeks as Umbria has so much to offer and is great value as well. We would happily return and hopefully will in the near future.

We cant recall how we got lucky enough to find this wonderful place, but are just thankful - we didn't want to leave ! The apartment was spacious, nicely furnished, and surprisingly well equipped with cooking kit and gear. Everything throughout was super clean, high quality and comfortable. The town of Trevi is really nice for a wander round, ice cream or lunch/dinner, and you can walk there in 10 minutes, and see it from the windows. Plus stunning views across the valley for maybe 10 miles. Lovely big warm pool, a suntrap till dusk. Our hosts Fiona & Richard were there to welcome us and were often about if needed, but not at all intrusive, we were able to almost call it our home. If your'e going out of season, there's a lovely big fireplace, radiators and new windows. Its no wonder they are stacked out with bookings, this place is a gem. We'll be back !

We had not stayed in this part of Italy before but received a warm welcome and had a fantastic stay Trevi is a delightful small hill town. We arrived in the middle of their annual celebration of the celery crop. Had not appreciated that there were so many ways to eat celery but all great fun The apartment has wonderful views of the town which is a short walk up a steepish hill The mountain scenery half an hours drive to the south east is breathtaking. Bevangna a few miles to the west is a perfect little town with an excellent fish restaurant

We really enjoyed our stay here, fabulous location, stunning views and a great pool.

We have just returned from a very relaxing holiday staying at Traviata apartment in rural Trevi, Umbria. Fiona and Richard were lovely, helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped, everything worked for us! The views are stunning! We had a pretty terrace and use of gardens and pool area which are beautiful. Large pots with exotic plants are dotted around the terrace and there's a clean pool with sun loungers. This place is a great base for touring Umbria. Trevi is your typical Italian hilltop town, it also has some great places to eat. We found ourselves sitting in the square with a cappuccino just watching the world go by, perfect! We hope to return again.

We recently spent two weeks at Traviiata. Fiona and Richard were very helpful overall but we found the standard of the accomodation disappointing in many respects. A number of appliances were in a poor state of repair including the iron, ironing board, the coffee maker. and 4the "spa bath". The lounge furniture was shabby. While we accept that the pool was being prepared for summer the pool and pool area were very run down and unwelcoming.

Just returned from great stay at La Traviata. The property is very comfortable, clean and spacious and Fiona and Richard are great hosts very friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful and in walking distance of Trevi with lots of restaurants. The pool is really good and well maintained. The gardens are lovely. Trevi is a lovely unspoilt town with a station a short dive away with mainline links to Rome and Florence (at least). Love to come back again! The Greens

Me and my boyfriend spent 3 days staying here and it was awesome. Stunning views, gorgeous gardens and pool and the apartment/ villa itself was beautiful. Big love to the owners who were lovely and I would happily go again and again. Thank you for an amazing few days! Izzy and tom :)

Le logement est très propre. Grand. Confortable. Très bien équipé. La propriétaire très sympathique. Le jardin très beau. La vue magnifique. Le village de Trevi, accessible à pied, très attachant, avec de bons restaurants. La région mérite un séjour d'une semaine au moins !

Abbiamo trascorso 5 giorni con la nostra famiglia nell'appartamento di Fiona, siamo stati benissimo. L'appartamento è comodo e spazioso, è dotato di tutto il necessario, la cucina è attrezzata ottimamente. La posizione è strategica per visitare l'Umbria, il paese di Trevi è tranquillo e caratteristico. Ci ha fatto piacere utilizzare la piscina per rilassarci e rifrescarci. I proprietari sono stati gentili e disponibili. Speriamo di poter tornare!

Als große Familie mit vier Kindern haben wir uns wunderbar erholt und rundum willkommen gefühlt. Das Anwesen unserer Gastgeber ist wunderschön und großzügig - der Blick in die Umgebung herrlich. Für jede Altersgruppe war etwas dabei. Der Ort lädt ein zum Entspannen - ebenso zu Tagesausflügen in die Umgebung. Assisi, Todi, Spello - alles gut mit dem Auto erreichbar und unbedingt empfehlenswert. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Gastlichkeit und Zugewandtheit unserer Gastgeber. Wir haben uns schnell heimisch gefühlt. Die Ferienwohnung ist schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es war Raum für alle. Excellent séjour chez Fiona dans ce grand appartement au milieu de la nature au pied d'une grande piscine salée. Seulement 2 appartements avec celui des propriétaires. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse pour déjeuner ou manger le soir au frais. La situation est idéale pour visiter les villes principales. Fiona et Richard sont discrets mais prêts à vous conseiller. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse.

Fiona and Richard’s apartment in their beautiful countryside house is very spacious, comfortable and really quiet with amazing views from every window!! We really enjoyed the peace of the place, the garden and pool area but also the proximity to Trevi and other nice villages. Fiona and Richard are great hosts and always available for any question. We fully recommend to stay at their property!

Fiona und Richard waren wundervolle und zuvorkommende Vermieter. Wir durften in einer geschmackvoll und gut ausgestatteten Wohnung unsere Zeit genießen. Auch die Gartenanlage und der Pool mit seinem Sprungbrett ließen auch für unsere Kinder keine Wünsche offen. Das Domizil können wir auf jeden Fall zu 100% weiterempfehlen.
