About this apartment rental

Townhome with granite kitchen, maple cabinets, genuine hardwood floors, slate entry, and marble bath. Our open living area features vaulted wood-beam ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace for the wintertime, and a large TV (with Roku, for use with your streaming account only -- no cable) for relaxation after a hard day's play. We cater to those who appreciate a nice home-away-from-home, care for our home as we do, and become repeat renters.

This cozy two-bedroom, 1 bath townhome is perfect for the vacationing family, romantic couple, or small group. The main bedroom features a queen bed, TV, and balcony. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a tv. The couch in the living area converts to a king bed. This kid-friendly home comes with toys, games, children's books, and videos.

Renters will have access to the clubhouse, which boasts a swimming pool (open from Memorial Day through summer's end), large hot tub (open all year), showers, and two saunas (his and hers). Other clubhouse amenities include a pool table, ping pong, tennis courts, BBQ and picnic area, and children's playground (outdoor amenities during summer only). Access is subject to clubhouse hours, which may change without prior notice due to weather, fire, Covid-19, and other factors. Clubhouse is closed during Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Eve, and New Year.

Nestled among tall pines and bordered by granite boulders, we are located in Lake Village, about one mile from the casinos and the Gondola to Heavenly Ski Resort, 1/4 mile from the award-winning Edgewood golf course, and 2 miles from the beach. A short walk leads to the forest that's perfect for cross-country skiing in the winter and a trail for hiking and biking in the summer.

Maximum nighttime occupancy = 6; max daytime = 12. At least one guest must be a minimum of 25 years old. Gatherings and events exceeding max occupancy are prohibited. Max 2 vehicles allowed. Guests will be issued a parking placard, which must be displayed on the driver's side dashboard. Failure to park in designated parking areas/and or display permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to owner of vehicle. Quiet hours between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am will be strictly enforced.

Excellent communication. Received a video prior to our arrival showing us how to use the portable a/c unit. Video was very much appreciated. Unit is only a few miles from a Safeway that has a Starbucks, and the casinos the other direction. Amenities of the clubhouse were a hit with my 6-year old and my 17-year old. Clubhouse closed at 8 pm. I would have liked it to be a bit later, but not like that is in anyone's control. Unit had everything we needed for our stay. Nothing fancy, but definite value for the money. We would stay again.

The host was amazing with communication. Everything was as described on the listing. The parking was great. The only downside was the HOA only allowed 10 people in the hot tub so we had to wait our turn. There is a crockpot in the property which helped me so much with cooking for family. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and I appreciated all the extras the host provided

I was here to complete a swim of the length of Lake Tahoe (21.3 miles) so this was perfect for me and my family. Very quiet, easy communication with property manager. Nice kitchen to prepare meals versus having to eat out and find food appropriate pre-swim. Overall great experience

As others have noted, this townhouse is a bit dog-eared, but overall, we were happy with it and found it to be a great value. The wifi was fast and stable, which was much-appreciated after coming from Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone (no wifi anywhere!). Portable A/C was upstairs only (BR's lower level) but bedrooms were never uncomfortably hot due to perfect Tahoe weather. Unit is quite close (couple miles) to S Tahoe casinos, restaurants, etc. In fact, i think this is probably the closest development on NV side to city of South Lake Tahoe. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, Jovita was a responsive and helpful host (offered early check-in when we inquired, although we did not need it...), and we would recommend/stay again.

I will start with the good parts of this property. It is conveniently located close to South Lake Tahoe and Heavenly ski resort. We took the gondola up to the ski resort and had incredible views of the lake and surrounding mountains. We also took advantage of the clubhouse and our kids swam and played tennis. Beyond the location, however, I have to say this was probably the worst property I've stayed at in 8+ years of traveling with VRBO and staying in probably 30+ properties. I thought the stairs from the first floor to the upstairs were narrow, slippery and shallow even before I fell all the way down them on our last morning in the home. The stairs are steep and the treads are only about 6 inches deep and carpeted. I slipped on the second step and slid on my back/side all the way to the bottom. My right hip still hurts considerably, more than 48 hours later. Beyond the stairs, the house reminds me of the kind of place you stay in for free if you sign up for a timeshare presentation. It is very dated, cramped, and drab. The bedrooms on the bottom floor are cold even in summer and reminded me of sleeping in my parents' basement spare bedroom. The upstairs is always hot and you have to hook up a portable A/C with hose to the sliding glass door to cool it off. Overall, while the house was clean, the owner was friendly, the location was good and the pool/hot tub/tennis courts, etc. at the club house were nice, I think this house is dangerous and should be avoided.

Jovita's place had everything we needed for our three-night stay. It was conveniently located near Heavenly. The apartment was a little date, but it was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The fireplace was nice to have. The living room was a bit dark. We had some minor issues which were addressed quickly. Communication with Jovita was excellent. Our son enjoyed playing pool in the clubhouse (which required a short drive to another part of the Village).

Hi, It is the second time I was going to this same apartment and unfortunately, it didn't go well this time. Coffee machine was not working I had to repair it myself, lot of silverware and glasses missing, smoke detector alarm turned on during the night and we couldn't stop it as it was on the very high celling. Owner accepted to refund us for less than 1/6 of the price but to me it is not enough given that the bad experience we had. We have saved month to afford this weekend in Tahoe, it was a expensive for two nights and we couldn't sleep the 2nd night because of the alarm, I let you imagine the damage. To conclude, I appreciate the small effort of refund of the owner that was easy to communicate with but it doesn't compensate what was suppose to be a super family weekend and that ended it into a bad experience because of the accommodation. I would expect also VRBO to do a commercial gesture.

Cozy condo close to everything. 10 minutes to Heavenly, under an hour to Kirkwood, Mt Rose, Palisades, etc. Jovita was very responsive throughout the process. Lots of room upstairs on the kitchen/family room. Note, the clubhouse (hot tubs/sauna) is drive from the condo, at least in the winter.

Overall the location on Tahoe Lake was perfect for us. The check in instructions were weird, we never made it to the official "office" to check in, but apparently that doesn't matter. The space itself could use some updating, it seemed dark and not very "homey". The curtains the host has as window treatments and as dividers in closets and pantries really need cleaned - they were visibly dirty. Overall, it met our needs of a place to stay, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Overall, we loved Lake Tahoe and enjoyed the location of this condo relative to what we wanted to do. We also liked the complex with the pool and playground for our 2yo. It was so nice to have the in-unit washer and dryer, portable AC, and toys! There were a few small things that were annoying - the check-in process was a hassle compared to places with no-contact check-in. We had to go back to the front desk several times for car license plate numbers and parking pass things. My husband and I disagree on this point, but I felt like the condo was cluttered with some of the owner’s stuff. My husband liked having so many well-stocked items. So, take that with your preferences for what you want in a VRBO. Totally personal preference. Last thing- the maid was not the regular maid, and when we arrived, all the towels were still in the dryer and dishes were clean but in the dishwasher. The owner apologized. I don’t think this is typical of this condo.

Convenience of stay was amazing from beaches to eats. So easy and quick! Airbnb was clean and ready to use! Rooms downstairs which was nice for the summer time. It got cool at night which was much better with the rooms downstairs. A couple of hiccups but the host was quick to respond with a solution. Look forward to staying here for future family vacations!

Private condo community. Location was 3-7 min drive to everything- grocery/shopping, casinos, beaches. Easy & fast communication with property manager. Preferred to have an attached carport or garage to the unit as our luggag/baby equipment required multiple trips to the parking lot area. Like a previous review had stated, the unit is a lil worn down but had all the comforts of home. Considering the location, convenience, comfort and price- very good option for small groups.

The property has a great location near a major grocery store and the turnoff to drive up to the Nevada ski lifts. Most importantly, the host , Jovita, was extremely responsive to some things that we needed assistance with and accommodated us with an early check in.

Overall we enjoyed the stay. It’s clean and convenient location. The owner is very responsive. The reason I gave 4 stars is that We could hear the neighbor on the other side of the wall at night. And the bathroom door makes noise. The water doesn’t go down quickly in the bathroom sink If you plan to cook, bring your own ingredients. There are some vegetable oil and salt and pepper. Anything else you need will need to bring in.

Lovely time staying at the lodge. Conveniently located near the south village, cute little housing village. Comfy beds, heating worked well, good bathroom, we enjoyed meals at the dining table - had everything we needed for easy meals and dishwasher. Easy to find and easy check in process, parking was fine (though couldn't see the slot under the snow). The driveway was very icy though and the house is down a short path from the parking, could do with gritting or clearing - or a stronger tool so we could clear it ourselves. Thanks!

Thisis a good place to stay when you go to South Lake Tahoe with family. Good communication, big space for kids to play, you have almost everything you need in the kitchen…. But the Portable Air Conditioner doesn’t works well, as at a not very hot day, with the AC running, the room temperature is about 79-80. Yea, everything good, but hot.

This was a super cute home, great location…close to beaches, casinos, shopping, etc, but just far enough away to relax for the night without the noise. It was hot when we were there, but the portable A/C unit worked perfect! Jovita was super responsive and easy to contact before our stay. I would definitely stay again!

It was as advertised and gave us a place to stay over the busy holiday weekend. Not too far from South Lake Tahoe action. After being strictly warned about parking and we could receive a hefty fine if we don’t follow parking rules, we came home most nights to find someone else parked in our assigned spot. We left a note as the owner suggested, only to find a different car there the next night. The owner was good about responding to us and trying to help..

This place was great for my husband, twins, and I to stay at for a weekend. My parents stayed at their timeshare down the road, but we wanted to have a place of our own to help the kids decompress and give my parents reprieve. It was perfect for what we wanted. It's a simple home with two bedrooms and the bathroom on the first floor and the kitchen, dining, and living room on the top floor, with balconies off the master bedroom & living room. We really appreciated the plastic plates for the kids, and the toys provided for play. We didn't use the oven, but the stove, toaster, and coffee maker were in good condition. Everything was clean when we arrived, the place smelled great (very clean!). Will definitely stay here again. Great, great location.

We had a great time at this property. The location was perfect and the condo had just about everything we needed. There is a BBQ pictured in the listing but no BBQ was on the premises. There were also no BBQ's working at the check in office. They said they were out of propane. Other than that we would definitely stay here again.

We were looking forward to our stay here as the prior reviews were excellent. Location is great and check in process is simple. However, the condo is dark and outdated. Stains are covering the furniture - we needed to place towels down on the furniture to feel comfortable sitting. Other pieces of furniture are broken. Overall would not rent this property again.

Pros: Location was great! 3 miles to Heavenly, downtown SLT. Jovita, the property owner, was very easy to work with and responded quickly. Cons: No AC. Which is completely my fault as I didn’t ask/check before booking. It gets very hot during the day. We were only able to use the kitchen (upstairs) for breakfast. It was too hot to cook lunch/dinner. The property owner does provide fans throughout the home, but we were still uncomfortable. The mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable and need to be updated. One of the twin mattresses was sunk down in the middle. Master bedroom comforter was stained. The property manager did offer to have housekeeping change the linens. The bathroom paint is peeling off the walls, I’m sure due to the condensation. The screen doors would not close all the way and need attention. With a little love this could be a great rental.

We were very disappointed in not having air conditioning, I missed that when I booked this condo, it is not an easy place to move around if you have any health issues (back, knees, etc... ) I almost fell down going down the stairs and my dougther did fall down the carpet is very slippery, my husband wanted to use the hot tub so bad after a week of hicking Yosemite and the Saquoia National Parks but you need to drive there, it is not close to the condo and they closed at 4:30pm because of covid.

We enjoyed our stay. It was close to the lake, village, and casinos. The property was very clean and the kitchen had everything that we needed to prepare meals. The upstairs (kitchen and living area) was very hot, though. I did not realize that it did not have AC or that the weather in Lake Tahoe would be so warm mid June. The only disappointment was that the community clubhouse closed at 4:30 (and we were there on a weekend). The paperwork that showed the information about the clubhouse amenities- pool, sauna, tennis courts, pool table and ping pong table- mentioned that it was open till 10:00 PM. We were looking forward to using the clubhouse after our day in the village and realized that it was closed.

When we got to the property it had not been cleaned. That was hard after traveling 1900 miles. We called property owner and she had the housekeeper come. It was pretty late in the evening and we were tired so we cleaned until she got there and continued to clean to help her as we felt sorry for her as she was very apologetic that it was not clean. I felt like the property owner should have been a little more apologetic for us coming into her place so dirty. The house was accommodating enough for what we needed after we sanitized and cleaned.
