About this cottage rental
The rural house Castillo Eugenio and is located in Citores del Páramo, as the name indicates is located on top of a moor so the views are beautiful. It is a very quiet village of about 50 inhabitants just 2 km. of Sasamón and 20 km. of Burgos
Beautiful rural house located 20 km from Burgos. Completely restored, it has reused the existing ashlar stones in the original building. The perfect place to enjoy and get rid of stress and routine.
The house has a living-dining room of 35 m2 approx. fully furnished, with fireplace, TV, sofa, side table, dining table, chairs, etc, fully equipped kitchen (fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, microwave, blender, ..., as well as all utensils and kitchenware) cleanliness.
The upper floor has 3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 doubles), all with their corresponding bathroom inside the room.
In the common area outside, which is shared with another rural house, we have picnic, with its corresponding fireplace / barbecue, and a large garden to enjoy the outdoors.
In addition, we have a cot and high chair for babies.
House's rules:
- Parties or events are not allowed
- Arrival time: from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Other things you should keep in mind:
- You have to climb stairs to access the rooms.

Estuvimos el fin de semana 10 adultos y 2 bebes y 3 mascotas (que lo pasaron genial).
Privacidad total y tranquilidad absoluta.
Ocupamos los 2 castillos, y lo pasamos fenomenal, aunque hizo frío y no pudimos utilizar el porche con la barbacoa,en el interior se estaba muy a gusto, ya que tiene una buena calefacción.
Están muy limpios,bien decorados, cómodos, actualizados y perfectamente equipados .
Esmeralda (la dueña) muy amable, incluso nos dejó un detalle de bienvenida y pudimos irnos mas tarde de lo habitual, ya que no había otra reserva seguida.

La casa está muy bien y Esmeralda es encantadora, muy atenta en todo momento. Totalmente recomendable, sobre todo para ir con niños.

Pasamos un fin de semana tres familias con niños, estuvimos en el Castillo Eugenio.
La casa está muy bien puesta, limpia, con todos los útiles de cocina necesarios y las camas son muy cómodas. Tuvimos un tiempo espectacular y pudimos hacer una bbq, los niños pudieron jugar genial en el césped de la casa.
Esmeralda, la dueña, es un encanto, se preocupó en todo momento de mandarnos información, dejarnos la casa preparada con todo lujo de detalles! Nos dejó hasta unas magdalenas para desayunar!
Sin duda es un lugar para repetir y para recomendar 100%.

Hemos pasado cuatro días en el castillo Eugenio esta Nochebuena y todo ha resultado fenomenal. La casa calentita, muy limpia, camas cómodas y no le faltaba detalle. La cocina muy completa en cuanto a menaje y utensilios. Durante la estancia visitamos, Burgos, Atapuerca, Villadiego y Sasamón donde compramos un lechazo excelente y nos lo asaron estupendamente en el horno de pan de Villanueva de Argaño, por un módico precio. Es cierto que en el salón no había mucha cobertura telefónica pero en el exterior y en los dormitorios no había problema. Los dueños son muy atentos y seguro que repetiremos.
