2 Bedroom, 1 Bath Home Can Accommodate Up To 6 guests extra charge over 4

We loved the comfortable beds and extra amenities! The coffee set up was great and the whole place is welcoming and cutely decorated.

I feel the need to warn people- We booked our reservation back in January & we stayed at this rental in June. In Jan, the host reached out to us asking how many people would be staying and we let them know we were going to have 6 people. The host said “ok” and there was no issue. However, upon driving up to the rental in June (full 5 months later) the host reached out and said that because we have 6 people, that there will be an extra $150 for additional guests. They asked for cash or a check, which was our first red flag. We were confused as the post said it could accommodate up to 6 and didn’t say anything about charging for any guests over 4 (listing has now changed since this incident)When we reached out to the host, they were angry/refused to compromise even though we were already 4 hrs into our 6hr drive. We then contacted VRBO & the agent agreed with us that the listing was misleading. He called the host to see if we can find a solution, but the host then threatened cancel the reservation. The VRBO agent connected us & he yelled at us/told us to stay in a motel. We were there for a wedding and all of the hotels were already booked, so we then had no choice but to be charged $150. Upon arriving, the host came to the door & told us “she was not happy with us” even after we apologized for the miscommunication and tried to extend an olive branch. Also, there were multiple times where the host came into the home when we left the property (the AC would be turned off, the blinds would be closed upon returning, and chairs were moved). We felt like there was a complete breach of privacy & we didn’t feel safe while staying here- especially after incident. Some people aren’t meant to be hosts, & these people definitely should not be as they are unreasonable, extremely unhospitable, and outright mean/aggressive. The stay also shares a wall with the host. There is a literal wooden board that separated our living room from theirs, and we could hear them multiple times throughout the day. Very strange. After checking out, they immediately changed their listing to provide info about the additional fee for over 4 people (we have screenshots to prove this) and lied to VRBO about changing the listing, which further validates our reasoning that they were just trying to get more $ from us. I would STRONGLY advise to not stay here. We just want to protect people from feeling uncomfortable as we did during our stay. We were genuinely anxious the entire time.

Very close to downtown, the wineries and Vino Robles Ampitheater. Ample space for two couples and wonderful communication w the owners who are on site.

This home is extremely cozy and clean. Centrally located in the Paso area. It was a wonderful stay!

We arrived with a group of 4 adults and we were all very comfortable. A very clean place with a nice set up that allowed for some privacy at night. It was strange at first without a kitchen sink but seeing as all the conveniences were taken care of, we adjusted to it very quickly. The nice view out of the picture window from the master bedroom topped it off. We would surely rebook in the future and we highly recommend this rental. Great response from the owner when we had questions as well. Bravo!

This place was perfect for our first visit to Paso. We were located close to the downtown dining and some of our favorite wineries. The hosts were responsive and created a perfect space for us for our weekend escape and visit. We will definitely be back!

This is a nice, clean, comfortable home. It's so comfortable and homey that the absence of a kitchen makes it feel a little awkward, but overall it's a great spot to enjoy time off.

Property is great, kitchen was closed for use. However, owners gave us all the appliances. If you don't need to use kitchen, it's a great house. If you need to use kitchen all the time like we had to twice a day for 4 days, it's a little bit inconvenient. However, again, it's a great place in a great location.

Our family of five (mom, dad, 3 young adults aged 26 to 18) had a wonderful time at the Riveras. They occupy the lower level walkout and we had the upper-level with a separate entrance. The beds were so comfortable; loved the mini-fridge and bottled water in every room. Mike was happy to share sight-seeing and winery suggestions. Dont miss visiting Hearst Castle, wine-tasting at Calcareous, and dining in downtown Paso Robles!
