About this apartment rental
This floor of my home is all yours! Non-shared, non-smoking studio, fully fenced back yard. Please choose my home for yourself, not just your dog; enjoy a full kitchen & appliances, 1 full size futon bed, basic tv, laundry & bath w/free parking. It’s peaceful living with country amenities! Clean yes, but lived in & loved. Limited WiFi-no streaming. Long term stays are popular and very welcome! Weekly & monthly discounts. Approx 5 mi to I80 & 21 mi to Starved Rock. LOOK AT A MAP I can’t change my location. No smoking on property, no parties & not suitable for small children.

Unfortunately, we had a family emergency & had to cancel the day of. Lisa was most gracious & understanding. Great communications with the owner. If I'm up that way again Iwould definitely stay with Lisa and her great property

My adult daughter and I were on our way back home from visiting her siblings and their spouses in Kansas. Stopped here overnight so we could hike around Starved Rock State Park before heading home. Checked all the boxes and when I’m back in the area I’ll bring my pups with me too! Beautiful quiet country location.

I enjoyed my stay here. I wasn't there a ton, but the yard was huge for my dog and the place was clean. It was as advertised, clean but lived in, pristine no, but I found it perfect for what I was looking for. The host was always available to answer any questions I had and very friendly. I would stay here again!

Pros - easy communication with host, very pet friendly with a big yard, full kitchen.
Cons - this is a basement apartment as the listing stays, and it has a bit of a musty smell as basement apartments will have. You do have to walk through a part of the house to get to the apartment door. I would have preferred if this door had a lock or latch. There is a bit of clutter.
