About this apartment rental

Penthouse Unit. Only 40 condos in the entire complex so there is always seating by the pool and plenty of space on the beach. You can enjoy your stay without worrying about saving a seat by the pool or getting a good spot along the ocean. This condo features a 1,500 square foot balcony that goes around the entire outside of the unit offering great views of the beach and bay areas. Every Room has balcony access so everyone can enjoy the balcony at any time.

The Master Bedroom features ground to ceiling windows for you to lay in bed and watch the waves roll in. The Master Bathroom features a Steam Shower that is fantastic.

The bedroom configuration is as follows. 2 rooms have king beds and 2 rooms have queen beds. The couch features a Serta comfort sleeper. Every room has it's own private bathroom.

This was the greatest spot to spend Labor Day. We had 4 couples in our party and everyone got to do what they wanted. It’s very close to shopping, groceries, flora-bama and restaurants. The lady who cleaned our room did a great job and was so very kind. The only reason I put 4 stars is because the condo could use a little updating. Mickey Letson was a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with. We have been going to Destin area every year since 1981. I would definitely recommend this condo.

Great property, only problems were due to maintenance, do to a prior plumbing issue being worked, we were unable to use the wonderful features in the Master bath. I’m sure once fixed it would be even better. The owner was on top of everything, but the plumbers had issues isolating the problem. Other than that it’s a great place at a great location.

This was our second stay in the Mediterranean, but our first stay in this unit, with Mickey Letson. I’ll say the entire process was super easy. After we made the initial reservation, we had a couple questions to help us prepare for the trip and Mickey communication was incredible. Check-in was a breeze, unit was as pictured and described and nothing short of impressive. The penthouse view was absolutely incredible. The never crowded beach was super nice as well. Had a couple questions for Mickey during our stay and messaged him through VRBO and he answered in minutes. We’re planning on booking another trip soon. 5 star experience all the way. Thank you Mickey, for allowing us to rent your condo.

These condos are in the perfect spot with access right on the beach. You can walk to the flora bama and Waffle House for meals and entertainment and never need to drive anywhere. Everything was clean and beautiful, and really helpful to have a full bathroom in each room my family stays at the condos yearly and we have never been disappointed! By far the best place to stay :)

This is the nicest rental property we have ever stayed in. Everything was so clean and it is so spacious. My husband and I, my three adult children their spouses and my two grandkids were all there. Plenty of room for all of us especially in the kitchen. The views were incredible. Every room had its own door to step out onto the balcony. Perfect beach access. With Florabama being right next door the music was great while you were on the beach. We made some great memories there and will definitely go back next year. We did have a couple of questions while we were there and the owner responded within 10 minutes.

We get in the elevator and it’s air conditioned- not smelly, not musty and not damp. Wow! This was my first glimpse into the amazing condo/unit we were getting ready to see and live in for the next 6 days. The condo was huge! The appliances and the decor were top of the line. The view from every balcony was spectacular. We sat facing the bay and were treated to live music from the Flora-bama establishment across the street as we viewed a beautiful sunset. In the morning sitting on the gulf side balcony we watched multiple pods of dolphins swim by as we are treated to a gorgeous sunrise. The space inside allowed for our group to be all together when we wanted whether it was sitting eating dinner or relaxing in the evening playing games, watching movies while we sat in the family room/den. There was room for all the pantry food items we brought, as well as refrigerated and frozen items. Space was more than ample- spacious. Did I mentioned the master suite. Ceiling to floor windows looking out to the beach and gulf while you lounge in one of the plush chairs facing the windows or sitting at the desk reading or journaling. The bathroom has a extra large closet with a dresser inside, a separate toilet area, double sinks/vanity, a huge walking shower with a tiled seat/ledge to take advantage of the steam feature and other shower jets. Rather have a long soak? There also is jacuzzi tub. Lastly- the smoker in the balcony - what a treat. Not a dream but a glorious reality!

We had a wonderful stay! This condo was the perfect place to spend a week with our four-generation family! The location of the condo was convenient to all restaurants and stores while still in an area that isn’t congested or busy with traffic. As far as the condo itself, it has an amazing setup for families. The balcony wraps around the entire condo and gives every bedroom personal access. It is equipped with everything you will need for the trip! The pools (huge bonus that there is an inside and outside pool!), elevators, gym, etc. were never crowded and made it incredibly easy to navigate around the property. The owner was extremely easy to reach and answered all questions immediately. We will absolutely be staying at this property again!

The condo is in a great location! Great spot on the beach—not terribly crowded. The tower is next door to the FloraBama, but has a buffer condo so the noise won’t keep you awake. Across the street from a Waffle House and the FloraBama Yacht Club restaurant. The balcony has a view of the ocean, the pool and the bay.

The indoor/outdoor pool has been closed since September, 2022. Any balcony access from all condo's in the building have been blocked and prohibited to use since shortly after that in Sept. I booked our stay on Sept. 16, 2022. Not once did I receive communication to let me know that there was a major renovation/restoration project going on and that we would not have access to the things that were advertised in the description. I even added a night on the front end several weeks prior. The cost per night actually went up! This is my yearly vacation with my kids and toddler grandson. I chose this unit because it is early March, weather is not always warm, and it fit our needs of an indoor/outdoor heated pool, balcony access to enjoy the ocean/water views, a grill, and beach. All the patio furniture and grill (which we couldn't use) were crammed into the unit and we only had beach access of those things described. Had I been informed, I would have made different plans. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

We had an awesome time The condo is beautiful and set up great for a large group! The wrap around balcony is perfect. We love that the area isn’t crazy busy like other places we have stayed. And the location to the flora bama is a bonus. We spent a lot of time there listening to some great bands.
