The house is absolutely beautiful. What are the prettiest places? I think we’ve ever stayed. It is located very close to the beach but away from the foot traffic. It is in a gated community and I think that is left out in the description which makes this place even more amazing. There are security guards on bicycles all hours of the night and they are super friendly. There’s also a Maya and ruin in the gated area that you can take a shortcut through to get to the shopping area. The shopping area and the ferry are also in walking distance. You can walk to fifth Avenue less than 10 minutes. I can’t believe that anyone would give a negative review about this place. We did have a few ants in the kitchen, but they were the kind of ants to come out of the trees in the area is so wooded with vegetation, but it makes it absolutely beautiful. when you drive up to the guard gate, you just have to show them a picture from the advertisement of the house and they will tell you exactly where to go. Super convenient. They also provided giant Kentwood jugs a bottled water each day, and a cleaning lady came in and cleaned almost every day, which was also a pleasant surprise. If you need more towels or clean sheets, or anything, you just message Carlos and he will make sure you’re taken care of.

Our host was always available to answer any questions we had and came to clean the pool for us which was greatly appreciated. The gated community is very safe and walking distance from anywhere you want to go!

The property location is excellent and a quick walk to everything you need. Some of the beaches have been washed away since our last visit but we found plenty of spots to swim. The property was very affordable and perfect for our family to spread out.

Property needs attention to details. Pool area needs a good cleaning…..pressure washing seating area. Barbecue was rusted out and unusable. Little details inside like curtains not properly hung, dinghy coloured sheets, bathroom fixtures falling off, rusted garbage can, dirty windows, kitchen drawers not closing properly,garbage like old cushions in front patio, wrought iron patio set could use painting. Overall property needs some TLC.
