Bungalowpark Groenhart is located in the heart of the North Holland polder landscape just outside the village of Dirkshorn. The extensive park offers the ideal environment for rest and relaxation in the green.

You can relax in peace and enjoy the green surroundings of the park. There are only 59 stone bungalows in the park. There is also a cafeteria where you can have a nice meal or drink, indoors and outdoors.

After only a few kilometers you are already in the beach area of the North Sea with its dunes, forests and the sea, where you can sunbathe, play and of course swim.

In fact, it seems that this area has the least rainfall and the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands. In summer the sea is very pleasant due to the many sunny days. In the off-season you can often admire the high waves.
There is also a lot to experience in the area of Dirkshorn, on bike tours, boat trips, day tours, markets, junk markets and much more.

There is a supermarket in the village. It is open from Monday to Saturday from midnight to midnight. Here you can get along well for all your daily purchases, but you can also hand in your mail and buy stamps and phone cards, etc. here.

In the village there is also a snack bar and a village café where you can eat very well.

Dirkshorn has an outdoor swimming pool, a canoe pond with canoe rentals nearby, and a small lake where you can surf or go on a boat.

From the lake you can take a canoe or small boat to ride the "Rondje Waarland". This is a route that takes you through Dirkshorn and Waarland.

There is also an 18-hole golf course in Dirkshorn where you can grab a ball for a fee.

The recreation area "Geestmerambacht" is easy to reach by bike. Here you can swim, surf, hike, bike or jog to your heart's content.

The beaches of the North Sea are known for their breadth and beauty and offer tourists the opportunity to relax all year round. There are many bird colonies in the dunes behind the beach. You will find many hiking and biking trails that lead through the beautiful nature and forest area of North Holland.
