About this cabin rental
RE: COVID - 19
We are taking the coronavirus/ COVID - 19 very seriously. Our cleaning service is taking additional measures during this time. All interior and exterior high touch surfaces including every handle and knob, are being wiped down in between stays in accordance with current COVID based protocols. We use Clorox Bleach wipes which are EPA registered to kill SARS-COVID 2, the virus that causes COVID 19 to clean with. The cabin is furnished with a MEDIFY AIR purifier that removes 99.95% of airborne COVID 19 particles after 1/2 hour of air circulation. We also have products for guests to use to clean themselves if they wish. We are health are practitioners and taking the containment of this virus very seriously.
Please note:
- For your protection and ours, a security camera it situated on the street side of the property.
- The shower / full bathroom is located adjacent to and with little separation from the Primary bedroom. However bathroom access is off of the Kitchen.

Just a few feet in front of the Sandy River, the cabin sits nearly secluded on its aged lot amongst towering fir, pine and cedar trees. From the great room you will see and hear the water as it gently winds its way down the mountain.
The knotty pine walls, vaulted ceilings and custom pine woodwork throughout the cabin make it an especially warm and cozy retreat for you and your loved ones. The open great room includes a clear-glass woodstove and a wall of windows offering a panoramic view of the river through the wildwoods. Outside, take a soak in the hot tub under the trees while sinking into the sights, smells and sounds of the mountain.

* Wonderful, splendid, pleasant, amazing, beautiful, cozy, warm… The sound of the river is soothing to my ears… the kitchen was too inviting, ate way too much good food, hot tub was hot, river was cold…the warmth of the surroundings made us both feel at home. The selection of games in the closet is fantastic.. Yahtzee is my new favorite game, as were the horseshoes.. so much fun!! Got a lot accomplished before 10am.. more than back in the city! We enjoyed our stay so much! When you drive up, you see the back side of the garage and a carport, but that isn't near what you see when you round the corner! The woods and river are so soothing. The hot tub is in such a great location. Loved it! Birds everywhere. We saw a doe with twin tiny fawns on the property a few times. The grounds were well manicured and maintained. We brought 2 fold up lawn chairs from home and set those up down by the river. Perfection! There is a large concrete picnic table in a perfect location. I removed the moss and debris from it and cleaned it up and it's was so nice for meals. We also had fun with the horseshoe pit. Wasn't expecting that! I was able to even catch a few mountain whitefish from just in front of the house. Walking inside, our first impression was with how much space there was. We just weren't expecting the living area to be that vast. WOW! The kitchen was very well appointed and all appliances worked well. The bedrooms were both spacious and clean with plenty of pillows and extra blankets if needed. The shower was very large and had great pressure. Washing machine and dryer were located in the second bathroom and they both did their jobs well. We dubbed this the "Healing House". It was just so relaxing and rejuvenating. The only tip I would provide to other guests is to place a large piece of firewood on top of the garbage can. We had a racoon ransack the can one evening. Thankfully it was empty.

Fantastic place settled in amongst the trees with the river flowing in the back drop. We kept the slider open to hear the river. Woodstove, horseshoe pit, fire pit, hot tub all made it a relaxing enjoyable stay.
