Ferienhaus Am Bahnhof is located in Werneuchen. It is 9 km from the outskirts of Berlin and a 2-minute walk from Werneuchen Train Station. The apartment is located in a quiet street Werneuchens.
The city of Werneuchen is about 9 km northeast of the Berlin city limits. There are currently around 9,000 inhabitants here. Schools and day nurseries are centrally located in Werneuchen, close to the city of Bernau and not far from Berlin, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the city and surrounded by green nature. Werneuchen has a train station. The East German railway operates as a railway company the line RB station Berlin-Ostkreuz - Werneuchen (journey time 32 min.) The B 158 connects Werneuchen with the Berlin Ring (about 6 km away) in the west and the Brandenburg countryside (Barnim district with the boat lift Niederfinow and district Märkisch-Oderland with the spa town of Bad Freienwalde) in the east.
On 11. 09. 2018 welcomed the mayor of Werneuchen the 9 000th inhabitant. Discover the idyllic Barnimer Land on the bike and on foot on the well-developed trails and on the countless lakes. In the Regionalpark Barnimer Feldmark you can find the picturesque Löhmer Haussee with its nature trail as well as the Gamensee, where visitors will find fun and relaxation surrounded by nature.
The bakery is 5 minutes away by bike.
Netto supermarket is 5 minutes away by bike.
The apartment has 4 separate bedrooms, a large 30 m2 room in the living area integrated kitchenette (American kitchen) with a dining area. The apartment has a separate guest toilet and a bathroom with a bath and a shower.
Accommodation offers a bathroom with a hairdryer and guest toilet. Bed linen is provided.
The accommodation is fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. There is a seating and / or dining area in some units. A microwave, toaster, coffee machine and electric kettle are also included. There is a kitchen with a dishwasher, a fridge, an electric hob and an oven at the property. Das Ferienhaus steht auf einem schönen gepflegten Grundstück gegenüber dem Bahnhof. Dieser störte aber überhaupt nicht. Wir haben nix vom Bahnverkehr mitbekommen. Waren allerdings über den Jahreswechsel und daher nicht zu oft im Garten. Aber wie wir festgestellt haben, fahren da eh nur moderne Stadtbahnen die leise und sauber sind. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, zuverlässig und nett. Die „Hausübergabe“ hat reibungslos geklappt. Zur Abreise haben wir sogar Blumen bekommen. Danke nochmal dafür.
Das Haus war sauber und ordentlich. Die Zimmer nett eingerichtet und die Betten bequem. Ein tolles großes Bad mit großem Komfort. Mochten aus der Dusche garnicht mehr raus😉 Der gemeinsame Küchen- und Wohnbereich war großzügig.
Einzig wäre vielleicht der Hinweis (jedoch keine Kritik!) in den Zimmern fehlte irgendwie ein Schrank für Kleider oder eine Kleiderstange mit Kleiderbügeln und in der Küche könnte es ein bisschen mehr Besteck geben. Bei 6 Personen ist alles relativ schnell aufgebraucht.
Die einzige Kategorie der wir „nur“ drei Punkte gegeben haben, ist die Lage/Umgebung. Hier ist eher die Umgebung gemeint und dafür können die Gastgeber nichts. Wir möchten es aber dennoch mit erklären. Obwohl es kleinere hübsche Parks gibt, waren diese nicht wirklich gepflegt. Das hat dem Ort und den vielen schönen Grundstücken ein Stück den Kleinstadtcharme genommen.
Aber wir haben unseren Aufenthalt zum Jahreswechsel genossen und hatten ein paar schöne gemütliche Tage im Ferienhaus.

Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten 3 schöne Tage dort. Wir werden dieses Haus wieder buchen, da ein Bahnhof gegenüber ist. Wir haben die Autos stehen gelassen und sind die Tage mit dem Zug gefahren. PS. Man hört die Züge nicht.

Die FW ist modern eingerichtet und neu gebaut.
Folgendes hat jedoch den Aufenthalt getrübt:
Es ist ungewöhnlich von zwei Überwachungskameras ständig observiert zu werden.
Der Besuch eines im Ort wohnenden Familienmitgliedes wurde von Seiten des Vermieters nur 20 min geduldet.
