Just 15 miles from Colorado's world-class Breckenridge ski resort. Copper Mountain, Keystone, and A-Basin are also less than 50 minutes away. Our home is an eclectic mix of new and old. Built on the footprint of an 1880s miner's cabin, it carries the past into the present.

This is our second stay at the Eclectic Alma House! The location was perfect for our weekly activities. Our hosts have a beautiful home; the split floor design is perfect for 2 couples providing plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their relaxing time. The check in/check out process is a breeze and property is well equipped for meal preparation and evening relaxation. Will definitely plan to return for our next trip to Colorado.

The house couldn't have been more lovely! Very spacious inside with every possible amenity - and dog-friendly, too! Responsibilities upon leaving (laundry, trash, etc.) were minimal compared to other properties. We would definitely stay there again!

My wife and I booked the Alma property online. The owners; Jan and Mark were incredible to work with. The property is perfectly located as our plans included not only the Breckenridge area but also southern Colorado/Arkansas River and Salida. We already have the property booked for a second trip in early March for Summit Skiing. Would highly recommend this property for your visit to Central Park/Summit County vacation.

We were able to go on two memorable jeep trips. Both trails began in Alma. They couldn't have been closer! The cabin was beautiful and very comfortable.

The cabin was simply perfect and i loved being able to walk to Otto's Cartyard, the Al-Mart, Mojo's coffee, and down to the river. Nearby hikes with friends who came to visit were fabulous. The McCabes are great hosts and extremely responsive.

This rental I would refer to any other renter that is looking for a very nice place to stay while also being away from big towns or cities. the location is at the base of a mountain, with many nearby trails and mountain passes.

We loved our stay here. The house was welcoming and very comfortable. The view spectacular. The neighborhood amazing. It seems like everyone talks about the food truck when reviewing this house and it's with good reason. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had. But really, it doesn't matter where the house is located. This is a nice, comfortable house in a great little town. I stayed for a month in Alma and skied at many resorts in Colorado. Loved Otto's food truck a block away and hiked and snowshoes in the forest behind the house. The house is well equipped for a short or extended stay. Good parking behind the house. The hosts are nearby and accessible. I hope to come back again.

This is a great place and great host. Everything needed is close by: Fly fishing, biking (gravel biking especially), site-seeing via backroads (4x4 recommended), Breckinridge shopping and retail, etc. Highly recommend.

Alma weather was perfect in July. The cabin was comfortable and has everything you need for cooking, relaxing, etc. A very short walk to food trucks, saloon, and country store. We will be back.

Very charming home with all the amenities. Was an excellent home base for our 2 days in the area during our honeymoon. Since it was just my wife and I we didn't use the upstairs loft area during our stay. All the modern updates and easy check in/out.

This is a beautiful little getaway. It is very modern but still has the feel that you are in a mining town. The home was spotless clean and well appointed. The place is fantastic for a home base as you explore the area. It is also within walking distance to the local pub so you can get a burger and a couple of beers without having to get behind the wheel. Very pet friendly. Neighbors were polite. Close to Fairplay and Breckenridge this stay is in the heart of great Colorado county to explore. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The house is centrally located in Alma between Fairplay and Breckenridge. There were many beautiful hiking trails in the area. Alma is a sweet town with mercantile, restaurant, and some shopping options. I would highly recommend this house.

Comfortable and quiet home with all of the appropriate essentials for a great week long stay. Entryway was perfectly suited for return from slopes and gear storage. Kitchen well stocked for light home cooking. Jan was quick responding to our couple of questions. Really enjoyed our stay!

The place was very convenient for me because it was pet friendly so I could bring my dog along and it was close to a lot of hiking trails and ski mountains. The place was very nice with more than enough room for just my dog and I. Check in and check out was super easy. Enjoyed myself a lot and would definitely recommend it to others
