Escape to your own paradise in this 3-bedroom, 3 bath Lake La Quinta vacation rental home in a quiet gated community. It sleeps 6 and offers a salt-water, spill-over spa and pool, mountain views, cabana with fire pit and misting system, lovely amenities and is in close proximity to restaurants, shopping and more. Only 30 minutes from Palm Springs!

THE PROPERTY
Come relax in the sun-soaked, south-facing backyard. Enjoy dipping in the newly refinished salt-water pool with spill-over spa, then sit in the new cabana by the fire pit and enjoy a delicious dinner al fresco grilled on the gas BBQ. The patio and cabana are cooled in the summer with a wonderful misting system! The fully equipped and well-stocked kitchen will make cooking a breeze! The 3 bedrooms have en suite bathrooms for maximum privacy. The Desert Getaway accommodates 6 guests in 2,468 square feet of carefully appointed living space and is perfect for families, friends or couples. The home has wireless internet, cable TV, air conditioning and a washer & dryer. During the winter, the pool will be heated for six hours a day for your swimming pleasure.
The open floor plan is perfect for entertaining, with a large dining room table, nearby bar, 55" curved screen TV, comfy seating and gourmet kitchen. You will also find the front patio is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning cup of coffee while listening to the fountain and watching the hummingbirds.
At the end of the day, sink into the soaking tub in the master bedroom, enjoy time in the spa with direct access from the bedroom, or watch a movie on the 55" flat screen TV from the king bed.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
You might never want to leave this beautiful home and yard, but if you do, you can stroll the quiet streets of the Lake La Quinta neighborhood and take in the mountain or lake views. The beautifully landscaped community includes a tennis/pickle ball court, bocce ball court, park and community pool (which is heated during the winter.)
The gated/guarded Lake La Quinta community is quiet, and yet so close to shopping, restaurants & theaters. 3 blocks away are the Century Theaters, Lowe's, Target, TJ Maxx, In-N-Out, Aldi Market and Trader Joe's. Across Highway 111 is Hobby Lobby, Kohl's, Sprouts (Organic), Stater Bros. (full grocery store), and more. Costco and Walmart are 3 minutes away.
We are only 5 miles from the Cochella Empire Polo Grounds (home to the Cochella Valley Music Festival & Stagecoach Festival), and 2 miles from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. You will love the many restaurants near the home as well as nearby in lovely Old Town La Quinta. La Quinta is only 30 minutes from Palm Springs and the Morongo Casino.

From the moment we walked through the door of your beautiful La Quinta home, there was so much peace, joy and excitement that filled our hearts!
We had such a relaxing time reading, swimming, enjoying time as a family! JR saw a falling star, T worked on her tan, B commented, "We should take good care of the place so we get invited back!" I read two books, dozed off and RELAXED!!
We enjoyed the SouthWest Church service and Shields Date Cafe on Easter. The whole time was such a delight! Thank you!

I was impressed with the atmosphere of the tropics in the decor and the yards. The home itself was well stocked for cooking, as well as close-by restaurant menus on hand to help you decide your dining-out plans. The master bedroom was invitingly spacious and comfortable. However the master bath leaves you with a big decision to make. Do I shower first or soak in the spacious tub? The other two bedrooms are nicely decorated and comfortable as well. The yards are well-maintained. The pool is very inviting in the backyard. There is also a built-in barbecue as well as the fire pit waiting to be used. The neighborhood is quiet both during the day as well as at night. All in all, my time spent there was very enjoyable and relaxing. Would I stay there again? Yes!

It is hard to put into words how very much we have enjoyed our restful time in this house! It is beautiful and classy, but at the same time comfortable. Decor is excellent taste. You must love to be here yourselves!
Some things we really enjoyed—the solitude, drinking coffee in the early mornings on the patio, the sound of the spill-over spa, morning bird sounds, plus a visiting duck and road runners!
We also enjoyed the proximity to so many good stores—we often did our shopping on foot. La Quinta is an amazing place. In our case, you satisfied your mission statement.

I stayed at this property for the month of April. It is exactly as described on the website. It is very nice and in a quiet, gated sub. Everything you need is included, down to pool toys and a completely stocked kitchen. The outdoor area including, misters, fire pit, grill and pool and hot tub is outstanding. This is a great place for a family to enjoy all its amenities. Five stars for sure!

Everything you see in the pictures and read in the description is spot on. While some VRBOs can feel like a rental, this truly felt like a home. We stayed here for the month of November and could not have been more pleased. The location is quiet and secure, and convenient to everything. You can tell Gretchen has furnished this house as her home as it is lovingly appointed throughout. She thought of everything and then some. The backyard is lovely and private with lemon and orange trees, and all the outside entertainment you could want with a nice fire pit, hot tub, pool, and lots of lounging furniture. The master bedroom is extremely spacious and so peaceful. Gretchen and Kirk were extremely responsive to our questions and were excellent hosts. Highly recommend.

We felt very comfortable in this home. It was well stocked with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessary supplies and equipment. We enjoyed the yard, particularly the hot tub. Our grandson really enjoyed the community pool which was never crowded. Gretchen and Kirk were very responsive to any issues we raised. We would stay here again.

This comfortable home is decorated so beautifully and the furniture is very comfortable. A bit of paradise in a tropical oasis! One of our favorite things about this home is the location. We could walk to great restaurants, bakeries, Trader Joes, Target, etc. We really enjoyed our stay here.
