This location put us close to the beach and not far from the airport and downtown. Close to a grocery store, gas stations, and food.

We loved this little house on a quiet street in North Pacific Beach. We even met the neighbor who welcomed us and chatted with us about the area for a few minutes. There were 5 of us; four adults and a 7 mo baby so having 3 bedrooms was great. The kitchen was fully equipped, though we mostly ate out, plenty of linens and comfortable beds and furniture. We especially loved taking our coffee outside in the mornings but had trouble deciding which we liked best, the enclosed backyard with a BIG table or the chairs on the front porch. Finally the location was perfect. Close to many beaches and the boardwalk in Pacific Beach, yet away from the crowds and noise. I would definitely rent here again. We had one tiny issue at the front door when we arrived and it was solved in minutes after one quick phone call! Highly recommend!

This house and neighborhood suited our needs perfectly as a family traveling with adult children and a dog. The home was well maintained, the neighborhood pretty quiet and friendly. Walking distance to multiple restaurants, stores and coffee shops. The check in and check out process were also seamless. We would stay here again. Thanks!

We enjoyed the area and location of the house. We found numerous places to walk to nearby to have coffee, meals and drinks. We actually drove to the beach-at least to get closer -with our chairs, umbrellas etc.. The outdoor dining area at the property was perfect for our family dinners. We were happy sitting outside. We were provided with the amenities we needed for our week long stay. Overall, we enjoyed the location and property.

Home has a great location we basically walked everywhere for our meals and went to the beach almost daily. The only time we had to drive was to go to balboa park and to Belmont park. Both were very easy drives. Overall great trip and good accommodations. Would have given it a 5 star rating but some of the appliances were a little dated/worn out (a lot of use I’m sure), similarly with the showers.

This house is close to everything!! We enjoyed the walk down to the beach each morning and grabbing coffee on our way back. There’s also a nice tavern we visited within walking distance. The beds were comfy. Couch not so much. We didn’t use outdoor dining due to cooler temps but liked how it was private if needed, a hot tub would be ideal out there. This house worked great for the five of us!

Overall a great place. We loved the privacy of this place. The large front window looking onto a large front yard with palm tree coverage, and on a corner lot, gave this home a very private feeling in a typical busy beach community. Home was very clean and comfy. We didn't use the dining room which is outdoors only, but it looked comfy and seats 6. It also has good shade. We could of used additional seating in living room. I worked from the petite designer looking chairs and two-top table and this was totally perfect for one. The petite chairs were not good for watching tv if 2 people are hogging the sectional. The sectional is ready for an upgrade but was cozy and maybe good enough for some. All windows are new and with screens (minor issue with kitchen screen which was duct taped). Beds and bed frames are all new. Bring the following basic essentials though. Paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, dish sponge, etc. For the price of the property I expected to have these covered in abundance. It was not relevant for us, but note this property has no HVAC. I expected no AC but it also does not have heating. It will generally not be an issue, but please note what is 'not' listed as an amenity for this property. Overall, I think this place was a nice find.

From the moment I contacted Shawn with his rapid response to my questions I knew this would be nice. No contact check in was flawless. I use to run hotels so am a little particular. Home was clean and had all the amenities and more that we needed. Evenings on the patio were special for all of us A little far to walk to the beach but can be done. Quiet neighborhood and loved the off street parking Definitely stay! Except when I want to go back, and we will! Thanks Shawn

$1.2mm home with furniture and amenities as if it’s an $800.00 a month furnished apartment. Knives are super dull, tv remotes battery covers broke, furniture is not that comfortable for a longer stay. Bikes provided were old and have flat tires. WiFi was intermittently out. The place needs a little love in my opinion. My main complaint is that there was a massive construction project right behind the home making it impossible to work from home during the week. The sound was insanely loud. 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM NON STOP. I would not have stayed there for free if I knew what I was signing up for. However, the owner was generous to refund a little less than one nights stay for the week which I did appreciate and thought was a nice gesture. I don’t think he realized a project was starting to be fair. The place also was pretty convenient to a couple convenient stores and was very quiet at night at least which was nice. Communication with owner is not the best. I did not receive check in instructions until about 2 minutes before check in time. And I left a couple of items when my stay was over, and simply asked the owner if I could retrieve the items at some point, to which I received zero response from owner with a simple yes or no. Initially, I was going to give this property 5 stars but after a full weeks stay, the construction (war zone), and the poor communication, the best I can do is 3 stars. I think maybe having a better property manager would be very helpful in improving this property and its features. It has potential!

Our family had a lovely stay at this house. It had everything we needed for 2 kids and 2 adults to make a quick trip to San Diego. The hosts communicated well and were accessible if needed. The house was close to many popular attractions such as Seaworld, the zoo, beaches, etc. We will come back when we return to the area.

Our family had a great weekend in Pacific Beach. House was clean, kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of beach towels. We were able to walk to local restaurants and spent a lot of family time out on the front lawn. The tandem driveway was great for two cars. Hope to be back soon!

I highly recommend this property!! Modern, very clean & well furnished home in a great location in Pacific Beach! The house exceeded my expectations and the property manager went above and beyond! After checking in we got settled and were extremely excited about our weekend there. The owner texted me to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed (since he hadn't heard anything from me) which I was not expecting! So thoughtful. Good sized rooms, modern style, beautiful back patio and front yard, extremely well stocked with plates/utensils, paper products, towels, etc. I definitely plan to stay here again as my sister lives close by in La Jolla. I highly recommend this house!

Communication was excellent. Very easy to check in and out. The home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed from beach towels to coffee filters. Our group consisted of four ladies celebrating a birthday. We arrived on a Thursday and left on Monday. Even though we traveled to downtown San Diego and Coronado several times, the location was still ideal. We never waited longer than 2 minutes for a Lyft driver and didn't need a rental car. We loved eating breakfast on the patio each morning and enjoying a cocktail there in the evening. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
