Hospitable Montenegro. The towns are not closed down like many other coastals that we have experienced the last 3 mths of travel in resort areas. This unit was just what we needed to regroup and rest. Our host is the best! Seriously, Dusko, was extremely on task and help us in more ways that we had not known to expect. It is clean, well equipped, and the view…incredible. Assuming summer season is busy, I would still chose Villa Radonic every time. Efficiency with authentic local vibe, privacy, and…the view is a good value. Highly recommend!

A true Retreat!

The place was super clean, well stocked with very nice kitchen items like lovely silverware and very new non-stick skillets which are usually the grossest camping pots and pans in most rentals. There was clearly care and concern in every detail. The view was phenomenal. Whoever wrote in a previous review that it is the best view in the bay was right. I spent a month here and drove around the whole bay, and this has be best southern sun, morning and evening views, and the sweetest part of the bay (the two little islands in the middle). But the real unexpected joy was Mira, the host's mother who lives downstairs. She made the stay feel like I was family. Hardly a day went by that she wasn't giving me some wonderful food she was sharing. And Dusko, the host, was over the top. Very responsive, very attentive to any details, questions or suggestions. He checked in with me every few days to make sure I didn't need anything. I could not have asked for a better experience. In a country where I knew no one, didn't speak the language, I felt right at home. What a wonderful retreat for me, it was just lovely. Even the bed was comfortable!! And plenty of new comforters and rugs because I was there in the winter and the apartment did not usually come with them. HIghly recommended!

The views from this house are as good or better than the pictures. The bed was good, we slept very well. There is actual parking on property, yay. There are no close restaurants or stores which is a draw back. There is very little space for clothes so we did not unpack. There also is no good place for the luggage which made it difficult to live out of the suitcase. The bedroom is in the back away from the road so noise did not bother us. Overall, good for the price.

What an amazing place! The apartment was very clean and comfortable with stunning views, a stones throw from crystal clear water. Dusko was a fantastic host,he could not have been more helpful or kind, he was also a mind of information, suggesting beautiful restaurants. His mother makes a fabulous lemon, filo tart that and some lovely strong coffee were my greeting on arrival. Everything was as pictured and described in the information. It was perfection. I would like to say a big thank you to Dusko and his Mother and look forward to going back.I highly recommend this property. Perast was stunning.

This apartment has to be in the best location in the bay, the view is just incredible. Dusko is a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome straight away and throughout our trip he and his mother were always very helpful. The location is great and Risan, Perast and Kotor are all in good driving distance. Overall we had a fantastic holiday here and will definitely return!!

We had a most satisfactory holiday here. The apartment itself had everything we needed and fresh towels were provided halfway through the week. Our host Dusko was exceptional in his welcome and local orientation - our dining experience at the recommended local restaurant was memorable and not to be missed. Swimming in the bay just across the road was a treat and nearby Perast and Kotor were two of our favourite places to visit.

We were looking for a week completely off any hustle of cities and worklife and were quite open about our destination. Then we found this really lovely accommodation of Dusko and his mother Mira. Everything we had read in the reviews before has been right. You will find a simple but completely equipped and cozy apartment with an amazing view from the balcony where you can have your own breakfast or prepared lunch/dinner. The communication with Dusko was really easy and he gave us a warm welcome with a cold beer/wine and some typical Montenegrian pastries made by his mother. He gave us an introduction of the apartment as well as for the whole region where he is well connected and gave us helpful advice for certain trips etc. If you cross the coast street at the front of the apartment there is a concrete platform built in water, from where we were diving and swimming into the amazing crystal clear water. If you need anything else just ask Mira or Dusko them and they will do their best to make it possible. Our impression of the region was that it is still mostly visited by Montenegrins or other eastern nationalities which provides you a quite authentic feeling staying there. We would recommend to rent a car during your stay because it makes life much easier. Overall it has been a really nice and relaxing vacation where we felt welcome and comfortable.

Property has a wonderful outlook from the balcony that made meals a delight. Rooms are good with adequate resources, though a little sparse in decor. Quiet with balcony doors closed but traffic can be noisy. All in, would recommend as a good base at the quiet end of the bay away from the hustle of Kotor.

Wow what an amazing stay and the views are to die for, I would recommend this place 100 %, Clean everything you need and Dusko mum is so helpful making us delicious food, A lovely welcome from Dusko asking me and my partner down for a drink and telling us all about the places to visit and the history. Oh man, where to start... This is by far the most idyllic setting you could want if tranquility is what you want. It has great cooking facilities with all the amenities you could need. The home is wonderful, clean and the bed is fantastically conformable! I've not had such a comfortable stay in a while.. everything was just perfect. The host Dusko has a world of knowledge you can tap into with the most fantastic personality! His mom (who lives on the flat at the bottom) is just wonderful. She really made me feel welcome and loved like family.. As a lone traveler this means the world to me and felt like a daughter she was looking after. Montenegrin wine - Plantaze Vranac is a fantastic red, Plantaze chardonnay I found the best for my taste and can be bought anywhere at the supermarkets - its a cheap easy drinking wine. On a sunday they have a fresh local market in Risan which i bought a weeks food from, well worth the trip. What can I say - fantastic hosts, sea, views and so much history to do around the area. The pictures don't do this place justice. The views are incredible and worth even visiting for a day, but having it on your doorstep was such a unique experience. Dusko, the host, was incredibly welcoming and kind. He even invited us for a beer when we first arrived and we had a nice chat with him. His Mother, who lived in the apartment below, was sweet, accommodating and gave us Almonds she picked herself. Every morning we resided from the balcony taking in the magnificent view and then reclined down by the jetty during the day. There are also plenty of little towns close by to visit for a day or afternoon. All of this, for such great value, made our holiday unforgettable. Thanks Dusko, we loved it.

Despite being about 7 hours late due to flight difficulties to Dubrovnik, Dusko was there to meet us and was very friendly and hospitable, despite it being gone midnight when we got to the apartment. We hired a car from Dubrovnik airport and drove down to the apartment, which was no hassle at all. Dusko and his mother Mira were very hospitable hosts and were so friendly. The apartment boasts amazing views (I would even go as far as to say they were the best of the whole bay) and was very comfortable and clean. There is a dock on the other side of the road from the property, where we spent a lot of time swimming in the bay and lounging on the deck chairs provided by Dusko and Mira. The apartment is only a 5-10 minute drive from Risan, where there is a supermarket, ATM and some Roman Mosaics. 20 minutes drive takes you to Perast, which is a beautiful town on the bay. I definitely recommend a visit here, even if only for the food! Kotor is also only about 40 minutes drive away and was worth a day trip to climb the city walls! This is the most beautiful place I have ever been on holiday and I will definitely be returning!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Dusko's apartment for one week and immediately fell in love with the beautiful country of Montenegro. The apartment is a perfect size and very comfortable with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. There is a great sized bedroom with plenty of hanging space and a comfy bed. The living/kitchen area is spacious and leads out to a great balcony with a gorgeous view - which is even better than the photos! There is even the added bonus of free parking right outside the apartment which sits in its own gated area making it very secure. The water outside is beautifully clear and lovely to swim in and can be accessed directly opposite the apartment, along with free sunbeds. There is a road between the apartment and the water - however, this was very quiet and we hardly noticed it was there. There are both supermarkets and restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. The apartment made the perfect base for our holiday and we hired a car to travel to places all over the country. For us Durmitor National Park was too far to drive there and back in one day ~ 3 hours each way so we camped there overnight, but although long the drive was very straight forward. I would recommend hiring a car to see as much as you can as the scenery is so varied in different parts of the country, everywhere we visited was truly beautiful and unspoilt by tourism. Dusko was a brilliant host, insisting on waiting for us on our arrival (despite being around 2 hours late due to an unintentional detour from the airport) and welcomed us warmly, along with his mother Mira who lives below the apartment. He was always contactable and came back regularly to check everything was ok, even though his wife was due to give birth at any moment! We really appreciated his dedication to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment as a brilliant base to explore Montenegro!

We booked for the view from the balcony and it did not disappoint! Dusko was very helpful guiding us to the flat and helping with anything we needed during our stay. His mother was also so sweet in providing fresh towels during our stay and even some baked goods! Really, everybody around the area was friendly. From the location, we did some day trips to Bosnia, Kotor, Perast, Herceg Novi, and Budva, but mainly we spent time at home on the dock just in front of the house where you had beach chairs and a magnificent view of the bay and surrounding mountains, plus the perfect temperature water. It was clear and we enjoyed snorkeling and swimming all day. I can't recommend enough!

We did not want to leave after our seven day stay. The apartment is newly and very tastefully renovated with everything you may need. The view is even better than the photos and we never tired of sitting on the balcony having breakfast, a drink at the end of a day's sightseeing or just relaxing. Swimming or lazing on deck chairs is just across the road. All apartments have the road in front. Parking is provided at no cost however there is a great bus service on the road in front which will take you to all the townships around the bay for sightseeing or dinner at little restaurants right on the water.. We drove to Herceg Novi, parked for the day for 5 euro and caught a bus at the terminal for a day in Dubrovnic..too easy! Supermarket, butcher and Automatic Teller Machine at Risan (less than 5 mins away). You could not ask for more warm, thoughtful hosts. Dusko (who speaks excellent English) and his mother Mira are the best hosts we have had in our 8 weeks of travelling from Australia around Europe and we will not forget their friendliness, kindness or Mira's wonderful pastries. Thank you both for a wonderful stay.

We just had a wonderful stay in Dusko's apartment fronting Kotor Bay. The accomodations are wonderful; new, clean and fully furnished. A very solid modern apartment with new electric, plumbing and appliances. The wi-fi is solid and strong. I cannot say enough about our gracious host Dusko. He was very helpful and welcoming and he went out of his way to help us. He treated us like family. His other home is in Los Angeles so communication is easy and straightforward. The location is really perfect at a quiet end of the fjord with an eastern facing full throated view of the Kotor fjord. The views are amazing and it is very quiet for sleeping etc. There is a road between the house and the beach but it is relatively quiet and serene here. The road runs around the entire Bay so there is really no place that doesn't require crossing the road to get to the water. The water is crystal clear. A bit chilly in late September, but it looked very swimmable from Dusko's concrete beach pad and lounge chairs. We had problems with Austrian Air canceling out arrival flight to Dubrovnik. We had to fly into Podgorica airport near Kotor. Dusko was right there (electronically) offering helpful ideas and direction. He really made the trip easy and uncomplicated. Tip: the Blue Line bus runs around the circumference of Kotor Bay and stops right in front of the apartment. For 1Euro it is a great alternative to renting a car. It comes every hour in both directions. Not so precise a schedule that you can set your watch by it but about every hour at 15 minutes past the hour the bus headed to Kotor passes Dusko's apartment. No bus stop required just wave furiously when you see it coming around the bend. The lunch and dinner buses didn't run in our experience, dinner break? (12:15 and 6:15 never came). 98% of all fjord activities take place within 100 yards of the Blue Line so why hassle with a car? Private taxi/sedan for either Podgorica or Dubrovnik are about 70euros and 90 minutes to either airport. Dubrovnik airport car rentals have better rates for one way travel than Podgorica airport rentals. Our reconfigured car rental had us taking the sedan car from Dusko's Apartment to Dubrovnik where we picked up our car rental to Mostar-Plitvice-Rovinj it was much cheaper than a car rental from Podgorica. Oh by the way. The wine in Montenegro is awesome. The Plantaze label is the largest EU vineyard (in a single location) and it is right next to the airport by the beach In Podgorica.

This was a holiday at one of the best corners of the world. 4 wonderful unforgettable days spent by us on the bayside at very friendly people’s. The apartment are very very cosy, comfortable and clean. Every detail of comfort is considered in the design of the interior. We had all you need for living And what a beautiful scenery from the balcony! Amazing paysage, marvellouse beauty of the bay, mountains and forests arise only admiration. Enjoying all these, you wonder that there still exist such a natural wealth of Earth haven’t been spoilt and mutilates by civilization. A separate clean beach, with everything necessary around makes the holiday more comfortable. Special gratitud to Dushko and his mother Mira for their creating every necessary condition for silent and relaxing holiday. We also suggest everybody vesting to visit konoba Catovic Mlini , which is not far from villa Radonic. Beautiful athmosphere, peculior interior, delicious food from sea products and excellent service delights a person for a long time. This was the perfect place to stay in Montenegro and a tremendous value. The hosts were friendly and helpful (easy to contact via email or phone). The apartment is beautiful with everything you need in the kitchen and bath. The views are absolutely amazing and if there weren't so many things to do in the area, I would have stayed there all day! The location is perfectly situated to take short day trips to all the towns along the coast and the monasteries in the mountains. You can pretty much drive anywhere in the country in just a few hours and there is a lot to see. One day after a full day of sightseeing there was even a delicious plate of homemade cherry pastries waiting for us when we returned! We will definately come back if we are ever in the area again.

EN: A very comfortable and clean apartment in a small hamlet in the Bay of Kotor, about 20 km from Kotor. Very friendly, hospitable and helpful owners. The views are the best in the whole of Bay! The road can get noisy during the day but you get used to it after a couple of days; the bedroom is at the back of the house so it's very quiet. Nice, big balcony. Clean private beach just across the road from the house. PL: Bardzo wygodny i czysty apartament w malej miejscowosci w Zatoce Kotorskiej, ok. 20 km od Kotoru. Bardzo przyjazni, goscinni i pomocni wlasciciele. Widoki najlepsze w calej Zatoce! W ciagu dnia troche halasliwie od drogi, ale mozna sie przyzwyczaic; sypialnia jest z tylu, wiec w nocy cichutko.
